The common causes for testicular pain are injury, infection and torsion. Injury can cause a tear of the testicular layers or it can cause a hematoma (blood collection). Infection can affect and cause epididymitis or orchitis resulting in pain. Testicular torsion is an emergency as the blood supply may be compromised and needs to be relieved. Sometimes a tumor of the testis can cause pain. Consult your primary care physician for therapy.

How are you? Men become very concerned and anxious when they feel pain in their testicles. Most common causes are trauma, orchitis, epididymitis, torsion, hernia, varicoceles etc.
Some tumors and infections can also cause pain in the testicles. It is difficult to comment on this without physical examination. In young males, most commonly routine UTI’s or STD’s can cause pain and discomfort in the testicles.
I had open mesh left inguinal hernia surgery 8 days ago. My testicles have been dark purple ever since, but seem like they may FINALLY be beginning to improve a bit. I haven't had much testicular swelling, just tender and sensitive, but my left spermatic cord seems to be a bit swollen, and my testicles seem to be hanging in sort of a strange way.
t have to worry, though you will still need surgery. If it is not reducible or if there is pain you will need surgery immediately. If at present you have swelling or redness or pain or irreducibility of the hernia go the ER.
If you don't have symptoms now, the surgery is best performed as an elective surgery with all the adequate precautions, to prevent recurrence. The precautions you will have to take will be, to first rule out if you are a diabetic or not.

Let me begin by saying I'm a 29 year old man with no background of STD's, hernias, etc.
I have been having recurrent pain in my testicles for a few months (since March or April) and it would subside and leave but know it's more recurrent and more painful. I just got tested for STD's and the urine analysis came back negative for anything and I'm awaiting on the blood portion of the tests.
I fear that I may have tugged too hard on the shaft skin using the device. Slowly I started to develop a pain in my upper groin (seems to mostly come from slightly above the testicles). It is mostly on the left side, but occasionally also on the right. It is usually a dull type of pain. I stopped tugging, but a year later the pain is still present (although not as bad). I went to the doctor, and they thought a possible hernia.
General Doctor said it was a black nerve in my back and hurting my sacroliac joint Now June and I am still afraid it could be a hernia since When I put pressure in the. bathroom I feel some pain under the testicles. I have an mri scheduled for next week so hopefully that can help
Question is what could it be? As well thinking of vasilis which is the inflammation of the inguinal cords.

Testicle pain is discomfort in one or both testicles. The pain sometimes radiates to the lower abdomen. Testicular pain can be due to injury, infection (Epididymitis or Orchitis) or inflammation, testicular torsion(most common in young men between 10 and 20 years old), excessive bicycle riding, hernia or kidney or ureteric stones.
The final diagnosis can only be made after a thorough physical examination including examination of the abdomen, scrotum, testicles and rectum.
Common symptoms of this condition are pain or discomfort in groin, especially when bending over, dragging sensation over the groin. Ocassionally, in men pain and swelling in the scrotum around testicles can occur due to descent of the protruding intestine into the scrotum. This can cause intestinal obstruction, leading to constipation.
The bones (vertebrae) in the back are cushioned by small, spongy discs.
