We see a retinal specialist in southern California who has followed her since he did her laser treatment. Today he said all is still well. He told us she will need to be seen every 6 months for the rest of her life. Also said due to her history she needs to be checked fir retinal detachment (different type) forever.
I'm wondering what precautions we can take in her life to help prevent this and how likely it is yo happen. I was feeling good about her outcome so far but am scared again!

No, it's still the same. It's been 48 hrs so hopefully it will improve tomorrow. I looked up miostat on the internet and I'm sure my surgeon administered that. I have my one week appointment next Thursday and I'll ask him then. My surgeon is part of the Loma Linda University in Southern California and getting a hold of any doctor is almost impossible. I'm sure it will improve by then. I'll let you know if it improves. Thanks again.
