Can anyone recommend a psychiatrist in houston, tx area ( as they seem to understand chronic intractable pain and have compassion for patients who suffer from pain ) who manages intractable chronic pain with methadone? I was previously under the care of a psychiatrist/neuro/oncologist for 8 years before going to my psychiatrist who passed away.
Thank you for responding. The endo. that I have seen, as well as the surgeon is in Houston, Tx. The biopsy was done at the Methodist Hospital in Houston as well. I am not sure who else that I should have look at the specimen slides for an expert opinion? Do you have any names in the Houston area that you would feel would be worth looking into? I live in Lufkin Tx. so the drive to Houston is about 2-21/2 hours.
I have seen others ask about specialists in Houston, TX and I found one that I'm 100% satisfied with. I have never come away from an appointment so happy and comforted in my LIFE. It is this guy:

Hi, I saw a post in your forum and several people mentioned finding a Chiari expert for proper diagnosis. My son who is 6 just got diagnosed with low lying cerebral tonsils by his neuro but he is not a Chiari expert. Do any of you know of a Chiari expert I'm Houston Tx? I would like for an expert to see him since he has so many symptoms which might or might not be associated with this malformatiom. Thank you!
I am developing cataracts in that eye and I want to have a multifocal IOL replacement when I have cataract surgery. I would like a surgeon that has a track record with operating in someone with only one eye and I don’t know how to find out if a doctor has that expertise. I live near Houston TX, but with travel to find a doctor with this experience.
