Hello, Kate I too agree that it sounds like a hernia. I have had all 3 the hernia which I'm having surgery for Dec 6th, the ovarian cysts, and an ectopic pregnancy-both of which I had surgery for years ago.
The ovarian cyst would not be protruding to the outside there has to be some sort of weakness in the lining, or the area for that to happen generally seen with a hernia, and your puking episodes could have caused enough straining to cause it.
t know if the testicular pain is coming from my back herniated disc or from the hernia. My nerologist thinks it is the hernia,although my GP thinks it os the back injury.I am scheduled to have the hernia repaired,hopin it might cure the testicular pain.Any thoughts?I am also constipated these days although do't know if there is any connection.
I have a golf ballsizedlump on my upper abdomen sbout 2 to 3 inchds below the breast and rib area. Itdoes not seem to hurt but you can see the outline of it ehenI lay down. Urine and stools have been normal.
Both were repaired during my surgery. I can speak to the hernia surgery, but of course mine was in conjunction with a complete hysterectomy. Because I had two hernias repaired, I woke up with a "binder" on. It is a large, thick, stretchy type of material that wraps around you and closes tightly with velcro. It started above my bellybutton and covered me all around to down below the hips.
when he is standing i can move th lump and it is no attched to the peins or stomach it hangs down on both sides of penis they are about the size of a golf ball and don't seem to bother him if i touch them. they are soft and moveable. no redness of skin, no fever eating and drinking fine. no problem with bathroom duties either. What could this lump be? just found today.
ve had a hard lump along the upper hairline that is about the size of a golf ball. Originally I thought nothing of it, thought it was just some fatty tissue or something as a result of scarring from c-section/tummy tuck, but those were both 8+ years ago.

It does seem like you could possibly have a hernia. Inguinal hernia which is where the intestine move past the abdominal muscles via the penetration from the seminal tubes. Could explain the issues ejaculating and urinating and the golf ball feeling in your lower area. Hernias don’t normally end up in the area between the anus and scrotum but rather next to the scrotum. It sounds possible though.
If you have dry eyes, which corrective vision alternative is the best to pursue - Lasik surgery or lens implant surgery. I am 61 years old and currently wear progressive glasses that handle close, medium distance, and long distance. I play a lot of golf and want to be able to see the golf ball in flight. To do so, I wear distance contact lenses 3.0 and 3.5.
My husband had the surgery many years ago and he did just fine. You will have to take it easy for awhile though. Depending on how extensive the hernia is, I would'nt be too surprised if they do the surgery out patient. Of course you'll receive pains meds and the Dr will send you home with a script for pain meds.
I just playe a unch of disc golf the other day and I am sore in arms and legs from that but I was just wondering if that could be something else. Thanks.
Anyway my question is has anyone had a surgery other than the nissen fundo to repair the hernia. I am interested in having mine fixed but do NOT want my stomach wrapped around my esophagus. I'd like for a surgeon to just go in and pull the stomach to its proper position and sew up the hole in the diaphram essentially returning everything to its natural order.
I have Restor IOL lenses in both eyes after cataract surgery approximately four months ago. I'm a golfer and would like to buy golf sunglasses because regular sunglasses aren't working well on the course. Some golf sunglasses are polarized. Since vision with the Restor lenses is very much affected by lighting conditions, I'm wondering if it would be better or worse with polarization.
