I had a few umbilicar hernia operations, the last surgery a mesh was placed in my stomic. Years later I noticed my stomic is geting larger and larger and it is very hard, I was told i need two doctors one for the hernia and the other for the diastasis abd wall. My questions are - 1 would my insurance pay? 2- Do you know of a good Doctor. - Is it a diffacult operation?

I have been diagnosed with myopic degeneration and receive the intraocular injection which is very effective. My insurance carrier will not cover the cost of the injection (medicine and surgery). Hello, I just had my ultrasound done today and it turns out I have a 5cm cyst on left ovary. The doctor talks surgery..I was wondering if anybody knows how much approximately it's gonna cost me out of pocket to have it done? I have insurance, deductibles to meet etc. Thank you for any help!

I have no medical insurance and I have an agressive cataract in my right eye that has made me legally blind in that eye. Does anyone know what the range of actual cost of cataract surgery sans insurance payments is. It would be mono focal and only the one eye. Any information would be appreciated.

So now the total cost of medical care with United catastrophic insurance is $6300 and uninsured out-of-pocket cost is $3600. They barely live paycheck to paycheck and cannot afford even the simplest coverage. I thought with the new health insurance reform that they would be able to get health insurance at a lower price but they can’t even afford that. After discussing it with my doctor we agreed to replace the defective lenses with Tecnis Multifocal lenses. The cost of the cataract surgery is covered by my insurance. I suppose by your post that you do not have Insurance and I'm not too sure where you would get help in this type of situation. If you haven't had positive Mammograms or some form of indication that you may have a suspicion of Breast Cancer I really see no reason for a Mastectomy at this time. I think that the kind of hernia surgery you are looking at it is a relatively simple surgery, as far as surgery goes. I don't think the dog will have to be put under deep anaesthesia, the procedure is something that is done close to the surface, and it is a fairly quick operation. I would expect a healthy dog to recover well. Your boy might have some activity restrictions while he is recovering, to keep him from pulling the stitches loose and undoing the procedure.

I suggest seeing your doctor! Do you know what procedure was performed for your previous surgery? I personally don't like the mesh type of surgery.

Insurance usually picks up the cost of this. Double check but I doubt you'll notice an out of pocket expense if you have health insurance if you do it at the hospital.

Dr Zenn at Duke told me the first step of Diep will cost sixty thousand.. with tmy insurance paying eighty percent of what they think he should have charged. I have Mega Life and they do not pay well. They only pay a maximum of two thousand for ambulatory procedures. Would breast reductioin and lift by ambulatory? Would tissue expander placement be ambulatory. How much would that cost... a range? How much for the implant placement. Is it ambulatory as well?
