Avatar f tn Looking for a doctor in Columbus Ohio who does pain management. The last guy we went to treated my husband like a drug addict and was outright offensive. I need a doctor who does both medicine and procedures and apparently this is a hard thing to find. His pain medication dose is low, however, we just changed insurance and our new family doctor says he cannot write more than one script for pain medication because he is under contract.
Avatar f tn I have no medical insurance and I have an agressive cataract in my right eye that has made me legally blind in that eye. Does anyone know what the range of actual cost of cataract surgery sans insurance payments is. It would be mono focal and only the one eye. Any information would be appreciated.
Avatar n tn I had a few umbilicar hernia operations, the last surgery a mesh was placed in my stomic. Years later I noticed my stomic is geting larger and larger and it is very hard, I was told i need two doctors one for the hernia and the other for the diastasis abd wall. My questions are - 1 would my insurance pay? 2- Do you know of a good Doctor. - Is it a diffacult operation?
Avatar f tn Hello, I used to have extreme pain in the left lower abdomen area (groin area), which was the result of a hernia. I had surgery in July and that took all the pain away. Unfortunately, about two weeks ago, the same exact pain came back. For the past few days, Ive had extreme sharp pain in the same area. I went to the surgeon who fixed my hernia, and she proclaimed that "there is no way the pain is from the hernia".
942162 tn?1245428214 The risks of a diaphragmatic hernia depend on the size of the hernia. If it's large, chances are internal organs will eventually find their way through the hole and become strangulated, leading to emergency surgery to save the pet's life. If it's small, the pet can go its entire life and live a normal number of years and never have a problem with it. I don't know why it would cost thousands of dollars to repair, however.
254689 tn?1251180040 then I HAD to have surgery! I went to Ohio State University Hospital.. only because the would do the surgery without insurance and put me up on a payment plan... Ended up costing me 52,000.00 though :o(.. but just for the pain to go away it sure was worth it!! I will keep praying for you!! When you having the surgery done?
Avatar m tn Can you recommend me someone to see somewhere in the USA for the cataract surgery? I had my surgery for the retina attachement done in Cleveland Ohio but I am willing to travel for a better surgeon as I did for my hernia surgeries (which also have been hell). I have followups every few months for that eye I had the surery on, and I have one in February. We do the reading test, the dilation dots, then a doc looks me over and checks for a cataract. Last time he said there was one forming.
575529 tn?1217655794 I am seeking suboxone treatment in ohio. I went to NAABT.org and they had 3 doctors email me. I have insurance and they all want at least 450.00 to see me. Is there ANYWHERE in ohio kentucky or indiana I can get treatment using my insurance?
1293887 tn?1332702847 Tell them to skip Ohio and move to Texas instead! Cost of living is cheap we got lots of jobs and everything is bigger in Texas.
1169557 tn?1263270893 My mother had the gastric bypass surgery about 3 years ago. The operation went horribly wrong and she almost died on the operation table. Fortunately she was able to make it through (barely) and faught for her life. She was in hospital for weeks until she was sent home. Even when she was sent home she was on bed rest with a feeding tube and cathater attatched.
Avatar f tn I think that the kind of hernia surgery you are looking at it is a relatively simple surgery, as far as surgery goes. I don't think the dog will have to be put under deep anaesthesia, the procedure is something that is done close to the surface, and it is a fairly quick operation. I would expect a healthy dog to recover well. Your boy might have some activity restrictions while he is recovering, to keep him from pulling the stitches loose and undoing the procedure.
Avatar f tn I am glad to hear that your surgery has done good. That makes me feel good knowing if the surgery went good then a good chance this may last a good while. This is good news.
Avatar n tn Richard Levin do my surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He was fabulous!! My surgery cost us right around 7000.00 and that included a night stay at a motel right near the hospital, a shuttle service to take us to the hospital, a follow up after we left, and should I ever have problems conceiving again, it would also include any expenses it takes us to have as many children as we want. Including IVF. I should also note..
148588 tn?1465778809 Behind a shuttered Allentown nightclub, Feldman meets up with Todd Hottle, 53, an intermittently homeless farmhand who likely needs hernia surgery. Hottle tells Feldman he plans to leave the hospital immediately after the procedure — the quicker to return to his tent. Feldman urges him to stay a few extra days to heal. "Oh, man, I don't know. I really don't like that place," Hottle says, eliciting laughter from Feldman and his team.
494961 tn?1250742077 Yes, your symptoms could be caused by a hiatal hernia. I also suffered from this until fundoplication surgery (which has opened up a Pandora's box of other syptoms).
Avatar f tn My vet charges a hundred dollars for spaying but I think it can be done much less expensively (there are a lot of spay-neuter coupons from humane organizations and other resources) and stitching up an opening that lets a hernia protrude can happen at that time for no added cost. So if you can wait until the kitten is ready to spay, you will be ahead financially. But you don't want her to have to have emergency surgery for a necrotic intestine in the meantime. So let the vet see it.
2073947 tn?1333731698 I am having to fight mine right now because they say I do not need another MRI right now, and Dr. Tender says I MUST have one so he knows what he is looking at before surgery. Since when do insurance companies kkonw more than DR's?
Avatar n tn Are talking about plan b pill? Depends on location. They cost around $30 in NE ohio.
Avatar m tn Is this a result of surgery, the accident or both. I don’t understand how a car accident can cause a hernia.
Avatar n tn My husband had the surgery many years ago and he did just fine. You will have to take it easy for awhile though. Depending on how extensive the hernia is, I would'nt be too surprised if they do the surgery out patient. Of course you'll receive pains meds and the Dr will send you home with a script for pain meds.
