Avatar n tn i recently gave up coffee, because it was triggering my anxiety symptoms, but the problem is that coffee always helped me to study, to concentrate on what i was reading, and to improve my memory. i tried to study the other day and it seemed hard to concentrate, but i don't want to drink it anymore in case it makes me anxious again. so basically, my question is - is there any other decaffeinated beverage that you know of that can help you concentrate, like a kind of tea or something?
Avatar m tn I would try taking magnesium 500 mg in the morning and calcium around 400 mg and vitamin D 2000 IU at night. I would improve the diet to reduce junk food and drink no soda at all and no caffeine after breakfast. If this doesn't help, I would try taking Rescue Remedy. This is OTC. I have not tried it, but if I had this I would.

Avatar f tn Phosphatidyl Serine is also a key supplement to take to improve the memory in the because it will help heal receptor areas. Fish oil should also be supplemented, particularly DHA or docohexanoic acid. 60% of the cell membranes within the brain are made up of DHA. Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with Vitamin D deficiency. My level was 5, and my doctor said it should be closer to the 50 - 70 range. I've been very foggy headed and my memory poor. Initially the doctor thought that was attributed to ADHD. I'm now on supplements (1) 5000 iu Viramin D3 daily. I'm wondering how long it may take before my brain feels clearer. Thanks!

Avatar f tn I was recently diagnosed with a vitamin D level of 8. My symptoms prior to diagnosis were so varied and myriad, that I honestly just chalked it up to being a worrier or hypochondriac. The physical achiness and fatigue is awful, but I can cope. What crushes me is the mental part; the lack of focus/concentration and downright forgetfulness.
