2095187 tn?1333091434 Your weight is actually low for your age and if you want to grow taller, please do not go on a diet to lose weight. The average weight for your age and height is 115 pounds. If you think you look fat, then I would exercise as it is a way to tone muscles instead of dieting to lose weight. I don't think you are fat. The pictures in magazine are air brushed digitally on the computer to make girls look thinner than they are in real life. http://www.chartsgraphsdiagrams.
Avatar f tn That depends on your frame size, as well as your age. Your frame size is how large your bones are. Here's a bit of height weight chart, that pertains to your height, but only if you are an adult female. If you're not an adult, the figures would be different.

Avatar f tn I'm always BELOW weight gain...I'm so tired of this. They never update this app! Too much to rant about. If it was me, I've got lots of suggestions too!
Avatar n tn Hi, my husband's height is 5'11", 32 years old and his weight is 107kg. Will you please suggest a complete effective diet chart and a exercise routine to loose at least 7 kg within a month. He has to work a lot. So only one hour he can spend on his exercise time. So what will be the effective exercises on that one hour. And please again suggest a complete diet chart and routine of the whole day meal.
Avatar f tn In a dog with ideal weight, you should be able to easily feel his ribs and see a slight bit of the last rib, but the rest of the ribs or the pelvis and spine bones should not be poking out. You can see a chart of body weight conditions at the following website: http://www.purina.com/dogs/health/AdultBodyCondChart.
Avatar n tn I am 41year old ,my height 5.9inches and weight 80kg.please suggest diet chart.
Avatar f tn Our daughter's height has been slowly dropping on her growth chart. Over the period of 2 years, she has gone from 95% down to 10%. The progression has been this: Birth: 95% 3 months: 50% 6 months: 45% 12 months: 25% 20 months: 15% 2 years: 10% She had serious health issues when born (two heart defects, heart failure, failure to thrive with weight) but these have all been resolved for over a year.
Avatar f tn Its different for every height. You can probably google the chart. But i would assume that you are. I think it's like 130-150 or something for 5'5 not totally sure though.
1194973 tn?1385503904 When it comes to percentiles, is it bad for a child to be in the lower end? Kylie is showing to be in the 5th percentile and lower for height, weight and head circumference. I'm really nervous about if she is growing properly or not. At birth she was in the 50-75th for height and 25th for weight. Should it drop like that? The doctor didn't seem worried, but I'm not sure. She is 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 6 pounds 12 ounces at birth. She's still 20 inches long.
Avatar n tn His weight is just below the 5th percentile line and his height is just below the 10th percentile for his age. The height and weight are in the growth chart; however, the weight is on the bottom. Maybe the following will help you to know the amounts of food he needs daily to gain weight. Guideline for a 9-12 month old child should eat the following: Breast-milk or Formula (6-8oz) 3-5 feedings a day, Dairy 1 serving a day – cheese (1/2 oz) or yogurt (1/2 cup).
676912 tn?1332812551 s always been a monster, he was never below 90% for height and always above 50% for weight, mostly above 95% and 75% for height/weight. Aubryana is right now the same size Elijah was at 4 months and she's almost 9 months. Do I just have a little baby girl, or is she gonna start growing more as she gets older? I'm so used to Mr Giant.
1938479 tn?1325705620 If Arnold Schwarzenegger was to use a BMI (weight vs height) chart while bodybuilding, it would have classified him as obese. Another way to look at fat versus muscles is that a cubic inch of muscle will weigh more than a cubic inch of fat. Muscle is about 18 percent more dense than fat. So a better question is am I in shape or do i need to convert more areas of fat to muscle? With that said, here is a weight chart that should only be used to give you an idea, so don't take it as gospel.
Avatar n tn Reduction of weight is an honest advice to you or else yr blood sugar level will increase much with age.. Try keeping yr weight in the BMI index range for yr height. See a chart on the net.
Avatar n tn No!!! I am 16 as well and though I don't know you, I know what you're going through (to a certain extent) I'm 5'9" and I weigh 180. Technically, I'm only partially overweight, according to the BMI chart. Anyway, I've had friends your height who weighed 90 pounds, and they get sick very easily, and when they get sick, it's bad. Your body will start to shut down because it cannot support itself. The average weight for your height is at least 110. At the very least.
Avatar m tn I'd say probably neither............5'2 is not a bad height to be. Below is a small bit from a height/weight chart. So depending on your frame size, you could weigh anywhere from 108 - 143....... Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'2" 108-121 118-132 128-143 If you eat well and get plenty of exercise, so you aren't getting flabby, you are about right........
Avatar f tn Her weight is on the 90th percentile; however, her height is below the 3rd percentile for her age. She has a very small stature so in turn her weight appears very high. Her needs increase as she grows and then levels off after she stops growing (after 18 years old). For a 4-6 year old they need approximately 1700-1800 calories a day. If you are concerned about her weight then it is recommended to increase children's physical activities.
Avatar f tn There are height and weight ranges for children which is indicated on Growth Charts. His height is normal, however, his weight is below the Growth chart for his age. You stated he is teething which some children do not feel well from it. Their appetite can decrease. Suggest you feed him small meals 5-6 times a day to help increase his weight and maybe it will decrease his ‘stomach aches’, as you stated.
Avatar n tn was also told I won't have another ultrasound ...
Avatar f tn Just took a quick look at height/weight chart - you are NOT overweight - even if you have a small frame. If you can maintain where you are, that would be ok. Don't lose too much or you will be unhealthy. There are some websites you can go to that will give you the number of calories you need daily. spark people is a good one; live strong is another. You can also do a search for height/weight charts to get an idea of where your weight should fall. Good luck and keep posting.
Avatar f tn All babies are different depending on your weight and height also, they are only average. My little girl is 4 lbs 12 and were nearly 34 weeks.
Avatar f tn I am concerned about my child's weight since having an appetite has never been an issue. The lack of significant weight did not occur until 2 1/2 years ago. At that time my child went through a very tramatic event. Since then there has not really been any real significant weight gain that has been permanent. I was told by the endocrinologist that Constitutional Growth Delay had more to do with height than with the actual weight. Can someone clarify this for me?
