m worried is since it coming back for the past 2 days, it been very heavy, I am passing huge black color blood clots (large one, very large). I do have blood clots but never I see this large before during my cycles in the past.
Should I just wait couple more days and see? I really don't want to go to hospital, since I don't have health insurance to afford.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm just worried seeing the large blood clots.
They have been very heavy to and i used to never have clots well today i thought my period was over because the bleeding was gone since yesterday but to my surprise i sat down to use the restroom and blood poured out of me and i passed a clot the size of the palm of your hand! This same thing happend to me not last month but the month before i thought it stopped than i passed one the size of an egg, what is going on can anyone tell me a friend of mine says its premenepause?
I am a 44 year old woman who has never had a full pregnancy and I am now having horrible periods with very heavy bleeding for about 2 days with large heavy clots of blood and very sharp cramps, I have started taking birth control pills to help the bleeding but about two days into my period the heavy bleeding and sharp pains happen. what does it mean?
I'm 3 years removed from child birth. First & only child. I was diagnosed with PPCM right after delivery & am still dealing with heart issues. I'm not currently on birth control. I'm having a period now that is the heaviest & longest period of my life. It's been going on for 7 days, with LOTS of bleeding & HUGE (quarter to golf ball size) clots. I had my tubes tied in 2005 and before that my periods lasted for about a week with very little pain and always regular. After I had the procedure I have periods that are very heavy, last for about 4-5 days and sometimes I have 2 periods in a month. in the last 6-9 months I have also been experiencing severe cramps and pass very large clots, and I feel a pressure in my pelvis that is very similar to when I was in labor. Is this something that some women experience or should I be concerned?
They are heavy usually have to change my tampon every 3 hours with no leaking nothing with Lil clots. Some times the blood would be darker then usual. But the one I'm on now is very very heavy I'm bleeding through a tampon every hour hour and a half I have to wear a pad as well very bad cramps. Bright red. And the clots like always. Is this something serious.
Tuesday night, I started bleeding really heavy and passing large clots. These clots were a quarter size or larger, and this lasted all night Tuesday night. Wed. I stopped the heavy bleeding and begain to have the clear discharge mixed with a little blood again. I am now also having a lot of breast leakage!!! ??? I took a pregnancy test today to be on the safe side, and it was negative.
OK A WHILE BACK I HAD A VERY HEAVY PERIOD, IF WAS NOT ONLY HEAVY BUT LARGE BLOOD CLOTS APPEARED TOO. MY PERIOD IS NEVER NORMAL SOMETIMES I WILL COME ON BACK TO BACK FOR MAYBE 2 OR 3 MONTHS AND THEM I MAY SKIP 2 TO 3 MONTHS. I am 47 and have suffered all my life with heavy painful periods. 3 years ago I had the mirena coil fitted to no avail. For the last 6 months things have become unbearable.. I loose 2 days from work each cycle, vomitting, low BP, severe cramps followed by large clots and four days of constant heavy bleeding. Help!

I don't know if this has any thing to do with you or not since I'm 51 and pregnant, but here it is for what it's worth. I had been having very heavy periods with lots of large clots for the past few years. When I would mention it to my doctor (not an OB) he would just say it had to do with my approaching menopause. Oddly I had some hot flashes every now and then 4 or 5 yrs ago, but then they stopped totally and my periods continued.
hello doctor....i am 22 years old. i had my periods at the age of 11 and since den i had irregular menses and that too very painful. i took medicines for alomost 5 years but it was of no use as wen i had those pills for 21 days dan my periods would came on time but those were like fake periods as i had no sensation in my body and the moment i left those pills i had the same problem again. i had my ultrasounds 2-3 years back and had polycysts but i had no pain in my abdomen .
It is normal to pass some small clots during your period, but the clots you describe in your question were not normal for you. Abnormal clots can indicate a few different things such as fibroids, hormone fluctuation, miscarriage. It might be best to speak with your doctor and make sure that everything is OK.
The pain that you describe when removing your tampon, may be because it was a lighter day and the tampon was too large for the blood flow.
m very sorry that u experiencing this, I had a heavy period this month with some big block of clots but with no signs of pain or discomfort expert when the clots come out. went to the doctor and he said this may be because of stress and going through different emotions which indeed it was. he gave me some medicine and pain killer and now in same month my period was due which come one day before its due. it got heavy first day but the nxt day it was light very light with small clots.
I'm 25 and for the past few years, I've had very heavy cycles with large blood clots. Sometimes I have to change my pads multiple times in an hour because the blood simply gushes. It's uncomfortable and makes it very difficult to leave the house since I do bleed through the pads and thus bleed through clothing very, very easily. The blood clots vary in size as well. Some are small, some are quite large. I'm not quite sure what I should do or what it could be?
