Avatar n tn Unfortunately, I haven't found any natural remedies that worked for my painful periods. I have to be on birth control for the pain, clotting, and to prevent ovarian cysts for 18 years. I do drink PMS tea, but can't tell any difference...
Avatar f tn I would stay away from any type of herbal remedies. There is no regulating, or monitoring of herbs, and when mixed with some medications, can be very dangerous. People hear Herb or Natural and assume they're safe, and they're not.
Avatar n tn If you are overweight, you can try losing weight and it may help. There are some herbal remedies that claim to induce menstration, but I have no idea if they really work. Try talking to your obgyn and see if he/she can help. Most people don't realize how long it can take for your cycles to return after getting off of the depo. I bet if more people did, then less people would use the depo as birth control. Good luck!

I too usually opt for natural/herbal remedies but irregular bleeding could be a sign of something serious and you don't wnat to mess around.
