said i might be prescribed birth ilight>controlilight> pills to regulate my ilight>periodsilight> or Hormone pills for the menopause. is there a quicker and less costly way to stop the periods?
if your ilight>periodsilight> are generally ilight>heavyilight>, you could ask your doctor about it. sometimes ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> pills can really help to lessen your flow. Also, eating healthy and getting regular exercise can help. Have a great (and safe) time at your prom.
i decided to go on the ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> pill to help regulate the severity (they were regular, just too ilight>heavyilight> for me to function), and i now have 2-3 day long periods that are light to moderate in flow with only the occasional clot. You might consider it if the reason you're asking is because it is impairing your life in some way even if it's just comfort.
i started ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> pill about half a year ago, after i removed my implant. i was prscribed Cerazette, because of my migrane. From that time i used to have periods two times a month, it was two weeks before i finished my monthly pack of pills and after i finished pack. it was quite light and usually lasted for a week. it was not very comfortable to have two period a month, so i decided to stop pills when the first period started (two weeks before the end of my pill pack).
my cycle is 28 days if i count from the first day of ilight>heavyilight> bleeding- however i spot for 3 days before the ilight>heavyilight> bleeding begins. once the ilight>heavyilight> bleeding begins i bleed for 7 days (4 of which are very heavy) i use the Diva Cup (menstrual cup) because my periods are so heavy tampons aren't absorbent enough. Because i use the Diva Cup, i know that i bleed over 100 mls each period. From the time i start spotting to the time i stop bleeding is typically 10 days.
i have been having ilight>heavyilight> ilight>periodsilight> for a while. i have been seeing a new GYN for a little over a yr. She has been showing a lot more interest in me than my past GYN's, which i am very greatful for but i am tired of waiting and would like to know if anyone has these same problems and if you found out what is wrong and what you have done. For the past month my GYN has been running test to figure out what is going on.
i'm 15 and have been on the pill for about a month, i was due for my period afew days before i started taking the sugar pills and it was a brownish coloir and light, now i've started the sugar pulls and my ilight>periodsilight> extemely ilight>heavyilight> (have to change tampon and 2-3 hours) but it varies, itl be heavy for a few hours then normal, then heavy again and i have horrible cramps. is this normal?
irregular bleeding, heavy bleeding, or fewer and lighter periods, increased spotting and light bleeding between ilight>periodsilight> are few of the common side effects of any ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> method. These side effects are more common in the first few months of starting OC pills. if the bleeding is severe or persistent seeking the opinion of a gynecologist will be helpful. Do keep me posted. Best of luck and regards!
You live in the US. if you have any kind of health insurance, birth control is free.
i started taking the ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> pill Seasonique, it is supposed to give you 4 periods a year. my first 3-month dose was going good, and i am not supposed to get my period until the 13th week. i got my period on the 9th week and i am still on it, it is now a few days before the 12th week begins. Before i started on the pill i would get my period every month for 3-4 days at the most. The 13th week of the pills have a lower estrogen level, which will cause my period again. Should i be concerned?
Hi, Coco. ilight>Birthilight> ilight>controlilight> is also an excellent way to keep your ilight>periodsilight> under ilight>controlilight>. Being on birth control does not mean in any way that you should have sex. in fact you should NOT have sex for at least a few years yet. The birth control won't hurt you, and you will always know when your period is due, which is very handy.
The first ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> pill i was on, my ilight>periodsilight> were regular at the same time every month. i never missed a period. my doctor switched my pill and i didn't have a period for 3 months. When i went back to the doctor they said that maybe the new pill was too strong for me, and they switched it again. i had a period for the first two months on this third pill and now i have stopped getting my period again. i took three pregnancy tests and they have all came up negative.
it can take a little while to get your ilight>periodsilight> regular when starting a ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> pill. i would however encourage you to keep track of your cycle for a few months to make sure you are not having any break throw bleeding. if you were, you would need to see your doctor for a medication change.
i recently started ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> pills about 3 weeks ago and this sunday nov. 3 i went to the restroom and had light bleeding then i went back an hour later and it stopped and its been going on all week i had the light red bleeding for 5 days and today it was a really dark color my period is due next week. Usually my periods last seven days and are heavy. Basically i was wondering if that was my period and it just came early due to the pill or changed? Or is it something else?
Doctors are only supposed to have you do that if your ilight>periodsilight> are extremely painful, extremely ilight>heavyilight>, or if you have endometriosis. You should be having them every month because your body is not made to withstand having them suppressed. (i am 16 and have endometriosis and i have had to get mine suppressed to only having two a year since i get put in the hospital with to much blood loss and pain.) Go back to the gyno and tell him/her what you experienced and ask for a different option.
Or have bad side effects? i a little nervous cuz i've never takin ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> b4. i don't want to not be able to loose the rest of this weight. Plus i feel our family is complete now with 3 girls and our boy but dont feel comfortable doing anything permanent.
so i definitely am getting on ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> after i have my baby girl im 37 weeks and im not sure what i want so im looking for opinions i am strongly leaning towards the implant that goes in your arm ive been doing a lot of research i just wanna know if its worked good for you or anyone you know...
With hormonal birth control, the period you get is actually withdrawal bleeding from stopping the hormones, and not a usual period caused by ovulating and getting ready for a baby. That's why ilight>periodsilight> when you're on ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> tend to be so regular. Hope this helps.
Can i get ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> without having an exam? i want ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> to regulate my period. i have never been sexually active but my period can go for 5-9 days not heavy or light flowing. it also has a range of 21-30 days in between periods. i do NOT like to be touched and have never had a successful relationship because of it.
myself and most every mom i know swears by their iUD. i had mine after my daughter and loved it... There are risks but the Dr can explain them...
i was thinking my last resort would be the iUD... has any one had one? Bad or Good? Any other ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> suggestions would be great too!!
i was just switched ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight>. First off i hate being on BC cuzit makes me gain weight. Well i wason ortho tri cylen (reg and lo) for a year and it made my period very heavy. i ran out of pills and decided to stop taking them. i started to lose some weight :).
They can't make you choose ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> if you don't want it. i didn't start using ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> until my daughter ed five months old. i just breastfed around the clock.
i had the strings cut again on my check up, but other than that i've had no issues. it's my favorite ilight>birthilight> ilight>controlilight> that i've used.
