Avatar f tn So who all is experiencing a heat wave where they live, and who has felt like complete crap since it started?
Avatar f tn No heat wave this year but last year it was horrible, and its very dangerous to get a heat stroke, but in Montreal they have a heat wave and humidity its horrible, and that his not a good combination for me because Im allergic to water and my own sweet so I can't do anything :(
Avatar m tn t been anyy other symptoms other than the occasional headache, which is most probably due to the heat wave we've been experiencing. The lump hasn't gotten any larger, and I have a physical exam scheduled at my regular doctor in two weeks. I'm going to ask him then.
Avatar m tn I do not know which of my symptoms could be related to lyme, or EBV, but what my problem is that I have a strange pressure-like headache along with brain fog that is not really specific to lyme. When I do an antibiotic treamtment, this symptom slowly makes worse, and after the antibiotics is stopped it goes a lot-lot worse. This "seizure"-like pressure/headache comes and goes every day.
Avatar f tn The wave of heat can't be a normal hot flash. I had a hysterectomy at age 33. I'm 64. I turn my heat down to at least 63 or 64 at night. It's cool in my room. Every morning as soon as I open my eyes the heat starts. Seems like it starts from my core. It only lasts maybe a minute. I have to throw off the covers and stick my leg out. Sometimes I can almost break a sweat during the heat wave. After it stops I get really cold and have to cover back up. It does not happen any other time.

159785 tn?1276226025 Any time of the day or night, mostly all night. A physical, skin-crawling feeling of DOOM ... internal heat that starts in my legs and moves up my body to my head -- which feels like it's going to explode, then the headache starts. My begins to skip every other beat, pressure in my chest like I'm choking, jumping out of my skin ... and the feeling is moving through my body like a terrible slow WAVE.
Avatar f tn Thank God this heat wave has finally broken. The heat was making me sick.
Avatar m tn I have an intermittent wave pattern, for the last 3 months, on my right side of my right eye with a slight headache. What could this be?
400099 tn?1282954864 I got waaay overheated before we got an air conditioner put in. Heat wave struck. Anyway, my hand and most of my arm is half numb and tingling. Almost like I'm holding an electrical cord. Anyone else ever have this? It's making me nervous. You know...what now?
Avatar f tn I'm 10 weeks and where I live in Australia it's 40 degrees most days, today the heat is really getting to me! I feel drained and weak and I have a bad headache! Any ideas on how to help cope with this insane heat!
Avatar f tn Ladies, if you keep a bad headache for days, you may need to see your doctor, as it can be a symptom of other problems. Of course, migraines can last a while, but if it's unusual for you, please get checked...especially if you have other symptoms like ankle swelling.
Avatar f tn Are any of you guys from los Angeles? And is this heat wave driving you insane?
4476031 tn?1374200674 Ive been stuck home all week thanx yo this crazy heat wave.
Avatar f tn I was playing basketball, and I hit my hit head after fainting from heat exhaustion. After two days this wave of illness came over me, and I got everything you are describing. Low grade headache that never leaves, irritability, anxiety, clicking noises in the ear (palatal myoclonus), etc. Does it feel like a pressure headache or a problem with your ears?
764912 tn?1322711843 Seasonal allergies really seem to contribute my migraines. Extreme heat can also trigger my migraines. Also, many summer activities such as mountain climbing/hiking or sitting/lying around in the sun for too long can trigger my migraines or make them worse. When it goes from heat to rain, that almost always triggers a migraine for me, and that can happen quite a bit around where I live.
Avatar f tn I experienced the itchies but can not remember if it was due to heat..When we had a heat wave here last summmer, I got a dose of extreme fatigue and weakness in legs with burning up both shins..I could barely stand up I was so weak and tired...Don't know if it relates..
Avatar f tn ICP waves are seen with increased intracranial pressure. Your pressure wave may be a C wave. This type of ICP wave correlates with blood pressure (which can rise due to anger) and respiration. Toxoplasmosis and leptospirosis are both pathogens listed to increase ICP. Symptoms that suggest a rise in ICP including headache, vomiting without nausea, ocular palsies, altered level of consciousness, back pain and papilledema (optic disc swelling).
Avatar m tn You can make yourself an Oral Rehydration Drink to sip on during this heat wave. 5 cups water, 1 tsp. salt, 1 Tbs. sugar and a pinch of baking soda. Or drink some watered-down Gator Aid or Pedialite. Please take care of yourself. This heat wave has caused a lot of problems for people who aren't used to this type of weather. Some end up in the hospital with heat stroke, heat exhaustion or dehydration.
