Avatar n tn I have had a heat rash on my neck, beside the jawline now for 14 years. I have been to a few Dr's who have said "Its just a heat rash, nothing you can do about it". My question, can a heat rash last for this long? Its been in the same place and has never spread. Its definately gets worse in the heat, it itches like crazy.

Avatar m tn My 18 year old son began getting painful heat rashes about 6 months ago, and it's getting so bad he can't work. He's just fine until he begins perspiring the smallest amount, and then his whole body breaks out in a fine rash that feels like being stuck with needles everywhere. He gets relief by getting cold and splashing himself with cold water all over.
Avatar f tn The heat was torture until I took my shower in the am instead of pm. I also at the end make the water as cold as I can deal with to rinse off. It lowers your body temperature enough to help deal with the heat but not enough to hurt baby. It's worked wonders! I barely broke a sweat today and it was 97 out!

10028419 tn?1416841704 At 6 weeks for me I was tired and no morning sickness, but my sister was sick as hell. Most people are different, as you go onto your next few weeks, your going to feel sick, tired and having a lot of *****. I'm 10 weeks. I barely have sickness, I only get sick when I don't eat right away in the mornings, after you sleep for a long time and not eating you become sick. The heat will make you sick too.

Avatar n tn Cholinergic urticaria is a subcategory of physical urticaria (aka hives) that is a skin rash brought on by a hypersensitive reaction to body heat. Symptoms follow any stimulus to sweat such as exercise (sometimes called exercise-induced urticaria), heat from the sun (which could also indicate solar urticaria), saunas, hot showers (reaction to water can also indicate water urticaria), spicy foods which may cause an increase in body temperature or even stress due to blushing or anger.
Avatar n tn http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milia). If it persists, have this evaluated further for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
Avatar n tn If this is not eczema it could be a heat rash. Nothing can be said with surety without a proper clinical examination. 'Miliaria (miliaria rubra, sweat rash or prickly heat) is a skin disease marked by small and itchy rashes. Miliaria is a common ailment in hot and humid conditions, such as in the tropics and during the summer season. ' 'The prevention and treatment of miliaria primarily consists of controlling heat and humidity so that sweating is not stimulated.
1142330 tn?1268095124 hi, I find the explanation in wikipedia is good: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qigong I practice qi gong before. I am not a qi gong master or anything. But the channel idea is like this channels through your body and you have sickness when the channels are blocked so to press on the acupoints is to help to unblock the channels, that in turn heal your sickness. qigonginstitute.
Avatar n tn In seeking a second opinion, I was informed there is now an alternative to the traditional radio frequency ablation, which uses heat to destroy heart tissue. Apparantly it is now possible to freeze the tissue rather than burn it. Does anyone have information about how thee two procedures differ in terms of success rates and risks?
Avatar m tn Also all these spots seem to be raised up slightly above the skin and the turn red around the edges when I get hot. I have been told heat rash before, but i thought it was localized to persistently sweaty areas and that it goes away anywhere from like 4-48 hours. Also with sun spots I always thought they went away after a good winter and you lose your tan and start again, besides sunspots definitely aren't supposed to itch, swell, and turn red.

Avatar n tn You are suffering from sea sickness which is characterized by a feeling of nausea and in very severe cases vertigo after spending some time on the sea craft. OTC prescription medicines like Dramamine and Scopolamine help. Apart from these ginger capsules and wearing special wrist bands also help in managing this condition. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seasickness Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn When you wake up in the night to use the washroom, eat a couple crackers or a piece of bread and it should make getting out of bed in the morning easier. Wear light clothing, heat is also one of my biggest kickstarters for nausea. Drink plenty of water, but avoid drinking too much juice because that can have the opposite effect. Suck on mints or sour candies, I find that sometimes just having a little sugar calms my nausea down. And most importantly, if you crave something, eat it!
