Common Questions and Answers about Heat sickness webmd

heat

Avatar m tn No. Uhthoff's is related to an increase in neurologic symptoms on exposure to increased heat or exercise stress. You might want to look at Raynaud's phenomenon to see if this may be what you are experiencing. from WebMD: Raynaud’s (say "ray-NOHZ") phenomenon is a problem with blood flow. Your body doesn't send enough blood to your hands and feet, so they feel very cold and numb. In most cases, this lasts for a short time when your body overreacts to cold temperatures.
Avatar f tn On WebMD it suggests ice/heat, improving your posture, chiropractor (who specializes in pregnant ladies) and acupressure. Some ladies use BioFreeze, but BenGay and IcyHot are off limits. Also putting a pillow between your knees when you lay down helps. I hope that helped in some way.
Avatar f tn You didn't get it from the drink. The virus needs heat and friction for transfer. Just like you get from the those romantic kisses.

Also weakened sex drive, yespecially i am a ltitle overy weight and get hot easily bUT also get shivering cold very quick in cooler weather and cant hardly shake it. Avatar f tn The heat was torture until I took my shower in the am instead of pm. I also at the end make the water as cold as I can deal with to rinse off. It lowers your body temperature enough to help deal with the heat but not enough to hurt baby. It's worked wonders! I barely broke a sweat today and it was 97 out!
788117 tn?1304011947 Have you considered having weekly total calories eaten and expended like WebMD? They also allow for tracking the calories expended doing specific daily activities like sleeping, desk work, shopping, etc. That way you can account for all the calories you burn in one day (not just those related to exercise) and compare them to all the calories you consume. I like their diet tracker very much but I like that Med Help has trackers for my migraines, my mood, etc.
Avatar f tn I also noticed that my appetite has been going down over the last couple weeks but i thought it was from the heat... zofran is not helping with the nausea at all! Miserable mommy!!
Avatar f tn t eat much due to morning sickness comming back and getting full faster. I live in WA state Is not too hot here its comfy if your outside because there's air but inside the house it ***** its like a sauna I have my windows open and still no aiiiiiirrrrr :( I sware why can't houses have AC or like ceiling fans in the rooms. i used to live in florida so heat is not a problem it didn't suck there because we kept the house cold all day ...
10028419 tn?1416841704 At 6 weeks for me I was tired and no morning sickness, but my sister was sick as hell. Most people are different, as you go onto your next few weeks, your going to feel sick, tired and having a lot of *****. I'm 10 weeks. I barely have sickness, I only get sick when I don't eat right away in the mornings, after you sleep for a long time and not eating you become sick. The heat will make you sick too.
Avatar f tn Morning sickness is different for everybody.. I have been sick multipul times a day for the last 7 weeks all day and all night. I cant sleep i cant eat i cant even leave the house I have tried and just end up being so sick in public worse knowing im not in the comfort of my own home i have heard that its a "good" sign but i wish it would just stop its taking a huge toll on me.
Avatar n tn Hi! If you are on facebook, check out the Lyme Disease and Wellness page. Those bands are specific for Lyme and unfortunately mainstream doctors and infectious disease doctors will dismiss them. You'd be better off seeing an LLMD or a Naturopathic doctor, which usually isn't covered by insurance unfortunately, but they can help you rather than spinning your wheels. Best of luck!
7750527 tn?1397990512 My morning sickness is really intense I've tried everything I could think of and have read every article on ways to fix it and it's so bad I don't want to get out of bed all day and I have a 4 year old so it's not working. Anybody have a remedy that works for them???

Avatar f tn Your fine. Discharge is normal. fatigue is normal. No worries. But take it easy.. especially at work... Your a mom now and growing the baby is the most important thing!
Avatar m tn My mom knows I constantly diagnose myself of every sickness in the world when I internet surf, but that rash that was on my body for no apparent reason back in '09 keeps haunting me! What should I do because I'm going crazy!
Avatar f tn When you wake up in the night to use the washroom, eat a couple crackers or a piece of bread and it should make getting out of bed in the morning easier. Wear light clothing, heat is also one of my biggest kickstarters for nausea. Drink plenty of water, but avoid drinking too much juice because that can have the opposite effect. Suck on mints or sour candies, I find that sometimes just having a little sugar calms my nausea down. And most importantly, if you crave something, eat it!
Avatar f tn //www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/aspartate-aminotransferase-ast "Normal The normal values listed here-called a reference range-are just a guide. These ranges vary from lab to lab, and your lab may have a different range for what’s normal. Your lab report should contain the range your lab uses. Also, your doctor will evaluate your results based on your health and other factors.
9584608 tn?1413678892 Has anyone ever had this or has it now? I was looking at WebMD and with my symptoms I've been having, it kind sounds like that may be what I have. My symptoms are frequent heartburn, feeling a pressure on my chest that makes it hard to breathe, and an acidy taste in my mouth.
Avatar f tn Hate it. I feel awful. Almost 23 weeks I didn't expect sickness to come back until the very end. My husband thinks I'm getting the flu considering I have a kinda nasty cough and my nose is runny. I just think its allergies. I have no fever. I'm eating nothing but saltine crackers and drinking ice water and some Powerade. Anything else is killing my tummy.

1021834 tn?1379292300 s have never heard of it) I get a major headache or migraine when my forehead is exposed to heat--only happens when I'm pregnant and when this happened I was pretty sure. Any time I get near heat from a grill or oven or get into a hot car; any heat source that hits my forehead--not the top or back of my head; just my forehead; I get an instant headache. Thank goodness it goes away the minute I get away from the heat.
Avatar m tn No problem, Thank you. I am think the rash is a heat rash because I was out in the heat over the weekend and the rash has gone down a bit. I will see a doctor for the peeing issue. I am thinking it maybe stress and anxiety. My job has alot of stress.
