20668025 tn?1503261651 My initial suspicion was heat rash or eczema. None of the rashes appear to be bumpy. The rash on my neck has a long welt where I believe I scratched it Thursday and the rashes on my arms have inflammed since Thursday due to excessive scratching. The skin irritation doesnt appear to hurt much but is definitely itchy and somewhat sore.
Avatar f tn Pictures should never be used to diagnosis someone, so they aren't permitted to be uploaded in the forum. It sounds like you may have a heat rash of some type or even a rash from the sand at the beach. Try to stay away from the heat, keep your legs washed with cooler water, and if the rash continues- I'd encourage you to get to your doctor to have them take a look.
Avatar m tn I was told to wash with Hibilens daily and to take doyxcycline for one week as a precaution, but he didnt think it was bacterial, ruling out also an allergic reaction. Maybe heat rash or a folliculitis. I have now again experienced these bumps. This time on my biceps, a little on forearms, a few on the neck and 2 or 3 on my chest area. NONE on the legs or lower torso like last time. I have shaved my arms in that area previously, but not my chest or neck area. ANY idea what this might be?

Avatar m tn Hi, ive included the pic. Just not sure whether it's heat rash or shingles. It looked like a cluster of pimples. It's gone in like 1-2 weeks. This skin problem occurred at the back just below my waist on my left side. When this happened, i remember i was sweating a lot at that area because of the hot climate here in my country.
Avatar m tn I am outside for about an hour then driving for 20 min then outside for another hour (I watch over different work crews) so I am sweating, then the sweat drys, then sweating, then the sweat drys. Do you think this is some sort of heat rash it is getting worse and worse. Avatar n tn I have recently posted about these red blotches on my face that i have had for about 10 months now. This is a picture after a shower. Heat tends to make it worse. Does anybody have any ideas??
Avatar f tn Hello, It can be due to contact dermatitis, allergic reaction, heat rash or herpes simplex. Since the child if less than 12 years of age, I suggest you to get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist before using any topical product. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar n tn Hello, Without examination,it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis, but it can be due to heat rash, contact dermatitis to socks or shoes, rashes due to friction rub, sweat dermatitis, fungal infections, nummular eczema or venous indsufficiency. Oral antihistaminics like benadryl or claritin, oral steroids and topical application of steroids and calamine are the minstay of treatment. If the itchy rashes still persist then consultation of a dermatologist will be the best. Hope it helps.
Avatar f tn Hi Pink, just had a look on the NHS skin tag, and there picture does not look like yours. yours just looks like a heat rash, try some calamine lotion on them as this should help ease the sorness, but you could also try leaving of you knickers till they go.
Avatar f tn Ok. It definitely seems like heat rash, judging from what I’ve been researching. But I’ll find out soon hopefully when I go to the doctor next week.
Avatar n tn I have this rash. Somedays it isn't really visible as much and sometimes it gets irritated and itchy. Really want to fix it. Please help. here's the picture I took http://s3.amazonaws.com/medhelp_images/posts/10374699_fs?
1186479 tn?1264450509 Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be infected hair follicles, sweat dermatitis, heat rash or contact dermatitis. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Zyrtec and apply some calamine lotion on the itchy areas. If the symptoms persist then you may need topical and oral steroids. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
Avatar n tn hey teak! just wondering if you could spare a moment im on my 7th week now and theres still this nagging rash that won't go away..basically I have a definite heat rash (red and a bit sandpaperish sometimes itchy when hot) at the base of my neck and 2/3 of my upper chest and a few faint pimples here and there at the centre which don't itch at all..does this sound like an ars rash at all?
Avatar n tn I have had a heat rash on my neck, beside the jawline now for 14 years. I have been to a few Dr's who have said "Its just a heat rash, nothing you can do about it". My question, can a heat rash last for this long? Its been in the same place and has never spread. Its definately gets worse in the heat, it itches like crazy.
