heat

Avatar n tn Thank you for responding to my query,
Avatar f tn So the rash lasts at night and disapears in the morning, does he get hot at night, maybe a heat rash .Is he well otherwise, no fever ?
Avatar f tn I have had urticaria in the past from heat rash and the rash did not have little white heads. It is likely that you are sweating more and the pores are getting blocked up hence the little white heads. It also looks from the photo that you have an oily skin, and these type of spots are quite common on that type of skin. Have you noticed at all apart from the sun, whether this is linked to round the time of your period?
Avatar m tn I have been getting a rash off and on since winter came. The rash lasts a few minutes but it is extremely itch and prickly. When i go out in the cold and return into a room that is warm/well heated my skin breaks out in a rash. The dermatologist said it might be some type of allergy. He has prescribed numerous medications and i am still getting the rash. I'm starting to worry it might be a symptom for something serious.
Avatar m tn Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be contact dermatitis, heat rash, pityriasis rosea or viral exanthematous rash. Pityriasis rosea is a common human skin disease which presents as numerous patches of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and sometimes by itching. No treatment is usually required. In most patients, the condition lasts only a matter of weeks or months(upto six months).
280369 tn?1316702041 Sounds more like a heat rash. When you get chicken pox, they start as little red bumps, but quickly fill in with fluid and then pop, creating a scab. VERY itchy too, if you recall when you had them. You would probably know in the next day if it is chicken pox by the change in the spots. As for you, it shouldn't be a problem if you already had the chicken pox.
Avatar n tn I have had a heat rash on my neck, beside the jawline now for 14 years. I have been to a few Dr's who have said "Its just a heat rash, nothing you can do about it". My question, can a heat rash last for this long? Its been in the same place and has never spread. Its definately gets worse in the heat, it itches like crazy.

1257199 tn?1277770517 I was going to say PUPPS rash, but since it's not itchy, I don't think it's that. It could be heat rash.. Do you sleep on that side the most?
Avatar m tn Hello, It can be due to allergic reaction, viral rash, heat rash or sweat dermatitis. Chicken pox produces an itchy, blistery, pustular rash that typically lasts about a week and is sometimes accompanied by a fever or other symptoms. Moreover you are vaccinated for it. Hence it does not sound like chicken pox. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil.
Avatar m tn I think probably most of your health issues have to do with the Arizona heat. The rash and your higher body temperature, that's probably from the heat. Use mild soaps with laundry & bathing and rinse well, generally wear clothes that are 100 percent cotton, and use a little baby powder at the neck, to minimize chaffing. A lot of Southwesterners wear a bandana to soak up neck heat and wipe off their brow. But heat alone will sometimes cause a rash.
2059648 tn?1439766665 While tx last summer I developed a nasty rash mainly due to the heat and sweating, so be careful with that. Keeping cool, avoiding hot bath/showers, loose clothing, etc. will help. As we go into our summer season keeping cool can be a challenge. Good luck with tx.
Avatar f tn There are so many things it could be, starting with heat rash because yes you can get it on your legs, so posting a picture or describing it would help. Also, this article might help. http://walking.about.com/od/medhot/a/legrash.
Avatar m tn The rash actually resembles a heat rash but I have had heat rashes my whole life, and they only shows up on my neck, inner arms, and abdomen, this rash is on my outer arms. Me and the guy got tested on Thursday (3 week mark, rapid ) both negative. Today I look on my right arm near the elbow area and noticed a new set of small red bumps in cluster now I am really scared.
Avatar f tn The key symptom with lupus seems to be a skin rash seen on the face or other areas of the body and the heat can affect this. Not everyone has the rash but it is a common feature. I'm sure the guys on here who are more experienced in the symptoms of MS will clarify the heat issue for you..although I am learning very quickly that everybody seems to experience many different symptoms with MS which are triggered/affected by different external and internal factors.
Avatar n tn t really itch but the rash itself kinda burns. it looks somewhat like a heat rash but more red and swollen. the large welts have not gotten any better and the rash is helped with OTC benadryl but stays and gets worse when no benadryl is taken. we went to the urgent care center because about a year ago he had a severe staph infection and was treated pretty easily with an antibiotic injection (rocephin??). at this visit they said it was folliculitis and tinea something (ringworm). the dr.
Avatar n tn hives are itchy irregular raise patches of redness and heat can heighten an allergic reaction if your son has been out in the heat when the rash came. it may also be heat rash, but the benedryl and bactine would do him no harm if you give them and they are not what is needed. a cold wash cloth works well on hives and heat rash.
1704915 tn?1357601254 This could be a heat rash...or a rash from continuous rubbing ( from your legs rubbing together as you walk.) Bad clothing...some contain latex, chemicals, etc that your body is protesting to...can also include detergents etc. Sweat rash is also possible, as are insect bites. Fungal infection/jock itch, soaps, shingles, STDs, ( syphilis, herpes, or warts; cause rashes on the inner thighs in both women and men.
Avatar n tn Your fever is not indacating HIV, ARS symptoms come on all at once not 1 one day and the others later etc.
Avatar n tn Most often, heat rash goes away on its own. Severe forms of heat rash may need medical care, but the best way to relieve symptoms is to cool your skin and prevent sweating. Keep the affected area dry. Dusting powder may be used to increase comfort.
Avatar m tn Hello doctor . On new years eve i gave a guy a hand job through a glory hole. I then masterbated and am worried of the risk. I posted on here before and it put my mind at ease but just recently I got a rash of about 10 bumps in my inner thigh they are red and don't itch what so ever. I think it could be heat rash or sweat rash because I've been sweating a lot at work and have been working on my knees a lot.
