1650779 tn?1342036603 s been a week and the rash has cleared up in some parts and recently appeared in others. Any idea how to treat the rash or when I can expect it to clear up all together?
Avatar f tn s just that this time my leg/thigh broke out (with my Herpes blisters) soon after the heat rash on my arms, so I was just asking if anyone else had a link to a heat rash, or if anyone thought that the heat rash was a mild break out of the Herpes. It's quite possible that it was just random, stress-related, luck that they were in conjunction.
Avatar f tn Does anyone have a similar problem, know how to prevent or treat the rash, or even just stop the itching? I imagine it would of healed much faster if I could restrain myself.
Avatar m tn sent me back to the hospital to do tests. Turns out I had DRESS syndrom - a severe reaction to drugs. The dr. thought the rash would clear up after stopping the drugs, but fever remained high (tried to control with tylenol). After two days he gave in to Pregnizone and the fever immediately went away. The rash took much longer. My skin was like a severe sunburn with rash and itching also. The skin pealed off over the next week - was horrible. Dr.

1027005 tn?1300050172 Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced a rash that starts on their belly and travels up. I was in the doctors office for it and also the hospital for heart problems and they said they don't know what it is. The nurse said it could be a heat rash, I live in Michigan how in the world could I have a heat rash at this time of year? Also, it's getting worse as the days go by it's been a week since I've seen a doctor and they said it would go away when I called yesterday.

Avatar n tn Hello, Without examination,it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis, but it can be due to heat rash, contact dermatitis to socks or shoes, rashes due to friction rub or sweat dermatitis, Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. Also ask your son to avoid wearing leather shoes for some time and wear cotton socks which should be changed atleast twice a day.He can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.
Avatar m tn If I’m wearing shorts and able to get air to it, it is much better. Any idea what I can do to help?
Avatar f tn I developed it and my doc told me the same thing so I researched and found ways to help cure the rash rather than treat the symptoms. However, the regimine I followed has a lot to it and the herbs I Boughy were relatively exoensive however I did not have to use steroids and after starting the regimine last wedsday my rash was already almost gone by yesterday and I haven't had to take any antihistamines in several days.
Avatar f tn Hello. I'm a 30 years old female. I've been having a skin problem and I really want to know what it is. Here's how whole thing started: - One day I noticed red rashes on my arms and legs after doing yard work (June 2010) - I saw a general doctor and took antihistamine. No progress. I took antibiotics (bactrim) for one week but I got a terrible drug rash from it. - The hospital finally let me see a dermatologist.
Avatar n tn Best way to treat is to prevent sweating by avoiding extreme heat and wearing commodious clothes made of natural materials. Regular hygiene is important, including drying skin folds after washing them. That will help in preventing bacterial/fungal infections as well. Yours in optimal health, Dr.
Avatar f tn Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but they can be clogged glands, heat rash or folliculitis. The best way to prevent them is to avoid treating your skin with excessively harsh chemicals and to limit sun exposure. Also use good quality cosmetics and exfoliate your skin regularly. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps.
2114131 tn?1399240871 My husband used Eucerin body wash in the shower, took cool showers, used Eucerin moisturizer after the shower, took Hydroxyzine (Atarax), used Triamcinolone (a topical steroid ointment), and we put tea tree oil when he got a few small blisters on his back. You need to check the Incivek website. There are pictures of a "mild rash", a "moderate rash", and a "severe rash".
Avatar f tn s a subcategory of physical urticaria that is a skin rash brought on by a hypersensitive reaction to body heat. Symptoms follow any stimulus to sweat such as exercise (sometimes called exercise-induced urticaria, see Exercise urticaria), heat from the sun (which could also indicate solar urticaria), saunas, hot showers (reaction to water can also indicate water urticaria), spicy foods which may cause an increase in body temperature or even stress due to blushing or anger.
Avatar m tn Also all these spots seem to be raised up slightly above the skin and the turn red around the edges when I get hot. I have been told heat rash before, but i thought it was localized to persistently sweaty areas and that it goes away anywhere from like 4-48 hours. Also with sun spots I always thought they went away after a good winter and you lose your tan and start again, besides sunspots definitely aren't supposed to itch, swell, and turn red.
Avatar n tn Is this a side effect from the accutane? Does anyone know how to treat this rash? I never had this before.
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed several years ago with fibromyalgia. No one has, yet, been able to really tell me what it is or how to treat it. I'm only 37 years old and in pain on a daily basis. They've given me Cymbalta, which I swear does nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions?
7613739 tn?1392614422 Since 2011 while living in West Hollywood, CA, the back of my neck developed some skin rash that I thought was scabies some how. I treated it with permethrin and it went away. I also made sure to wash clothing and bedding as well. The skin rash came back and doesn't go away unless I use the permethrin on it everyday. If I stop using it for one day, it starts to come back. Bumps, etc. I began to believe it was psoriasis or ezcema just cause it wouldn't go away.
Avatar f tn And you have sensitive skin? Sounds to me like just normal sweaty irritation. That used to happen to me when I was younger and tried to wear micro shorts on hot humid days to walk to the mall. Maybe don't shave so high? Definitely cut out any products with perfumes in them. Get a lotion with vitamin E in it. The St. Ives (find one that isn't smelly!!!!) line worked well for me.
