It sounds odd but is very common in children and adults.Hydration is important. The rash is most likely a sudden heat rash..but without proper testing to rule out other more serious conditions it is hard to make an educated guess. Good luck and be well.

For the last 3 weeks I've had this rash coming and going on my face, when it flares up it feels really hot. In the first week of it my throat felt like it was burning and one of my eyes was slightly red with a hot feeling to it also. These 2 symptoms have passed but the rash has not gone. I have stopped using hair products ie. hairspray etc and just use a mild shampoo/conditioner, there is also a feeling of hotness to the back of my neck.

The bumps have gone away from my arms, neck as well as my face. I think it was probably heat rash, I usually cover myself up with sweaters and such. Again, Thank you!

for ten days i've had a red, itchy, burning, painful rash on my hands and face ... esp. around my mouth and chin. very dry ... red bumps or marks ... no fluid or anything inside ... not like pox ... like many many small bumps or marks.really itches and i won't go out cause of how it looks. it is on the top of my hands and left wrist. so itchy. it is not spreading at all ... just won't go away ... i know of no new products i've used. i'm 57 yrs. old.

Rashes are common in pregnancy so I've read. I had a heat rash right on my chest between my boobs and it itched like crazy, just use some cortezone twice daily and try not to scratch...if it gets worse I would contact your Dr.

IT SHOULD GO AWAY ON ITS OWN AND COULD BE HEAT RASH BECAUSE BABIES DONT REGULATE HEAT OR COLD THE WAY WE DO SO EVEN THOUGH YOU MAY THINK HE IS NOT IN THE HEAT JUST YOU HOLDING HIM OR SWADDLING HIM IN A BLANKET COULD BE THE CAUSE.

I am not convinced of the this diagnosis either as the rash remains thoughout the year now. However, the rash is restricted to my face and lower limbs - areas most exposed to the sun - so there is some link. But if it is the sun, the effect is not immediate, and the rash never totally disappears. I have never had this rash on my trunk or groin area. My head does get very itchy though, as does my face in general.

However, it seems from your description that the lesions might be some kind of allergic eruptions, milia, heat rash, skin infections / contact dermatitis. Hives are usually allergic caused by food and insect stings also besides medication or cosmetics. Sometimes they may also be due to infections, heat, cold or stress ((emotional / physical). Many a times no specific cause for them is ever found.

m just stressing out about it and was wondering if these symptoms were something I should be stressing about.

Every Winter since I was about 13 and got Pityrisis Rosea I have gotten this very very itchy rash. At first I thought it was just a heat rash and so did my parents but now i'm 21 and it's still happening. I also just had my son last year and he has gotten the rash again this year for the second time. Aveeno helps for about 20 minutes and then it's just itching. I literally wake up from a dead sleep from scratching myself.

Hi everyone, I'm taking Gabapentin and up to 1800mg a day...I was taking 2100mg a day, but felt too tired so I lowered it to 1800mg .. I've had this rash on my neck for the past week or so.. it's spreading down my chest area and hands...parts of my face. It looks like Hives...but I'm not sure if it is. My GP is away for another week and can't see him... could you get hives from gabapentin...it's the only med that is a new med for me...

m giving him Motrin as a precaution and am thinking it may be heat rash but being a first time mom and therefore paranoid there are other things that I am thinking. Any suggestions or remedies?

I have a burning rash on the right side of my face. I don't know if I got too close to something yard related - I was weeding my garden the other day (3 days ago, itching started two days ago...). It doesn't itch so much as it is BURNING on my face. It's a raised red rash covered half my face, and going up to my ear. I've tried Aveeno creme, Caladryl, Neutrogena creme, and Gold Bond. All of them seem to make it burn even more and I can't stand the heat generating.

Over a month ago I noticed a patterned redness developing on my upper forehead just below the hairline, along my temples, and also on both cheeks. I had skin irritation(heat rash) from my nail scratch on my scrotum during protected sex using condom with a sex worker.I had redness over scrotum during sex.Do i have chances that her vaginal fluids came into contact with my scrotum and contracting HIV assuming she was hiv POSITIVE???And do i have to get tested over this incident?

I have recently posted about these red blotches on my face that i have had for about 10 months now. This is a picture after a shower. Heat tends to make it worse. Does anybody have any ideas??

Sounds more like a heat rash. When you get chicken pox, they start as little red bumps, but quickly fill in with fluid and then pop, creating a scab. VERY itchy too, if you recall when you had them. You would probably know in the next day if it is chicken pox by the change in the spots. As for you, it shouldn't be a problem if you already had the chicken pox.

These can be contact dermatitis, sweat dermatitis, heat rash or due to viral exanthematous disease. Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough and so confirmation is necessary.Till then make your child wear cotton clothes and apply calamine lotion on the bumps. small rash on back right side and under breast on right side, thought it was a heat rash at first but the rash on back is red and just one spot where under the breast area it it prickly and small bumps. i am a farmer and got nitrogen on me and in my boots my feet are now itchy and raw on the tops my mother has the shingles right now could i have caught that?
