Common Questions and Answers about Heat rash crotch

heat

Darkened skin on scrotum, around the scrotum (inner thighs) and possibly into the anal area. Agrivated by sweat/heat (intensifies the odor) and crotch area feels sticky throught the day. I also have tinny little bumps on scroum which cause an intense itch, especialy at night.I have tried doing some reasearch on this condition online and have found a similar condition that was treated with homeopathic medicine (using Sepia 1m) which i tried but did nothing for me.
I went to the doctor today with a beet red rash under ONE armpit that is alternately sore and itchy. I have had it for several weeks and have also had it to a somewhat limited degree in the groin area as you describe. My dr. took a scraping, looked at it under the microscope and diagnosed "tinea corporis" and told me to buy Micotin over the counter for it. Hope it doesn't come back! It's very uncomfortable.
As you abstain from sex it is almost certainly not an STD but never share towels or flannels with anyone as genital warts can theorectically be transfered this way. MRSA is a hospital superbug which you are most likely to catch if you've been in hospital especially with an open wound. I have nursed people with MRSA and did not catch it, nor is it always fatal. Although it is serious it is not something you need to worry about in general. Did people at your school really have it?
I have a horrible odor coming around my crotch, and it's not due to uncleanliness because the odor is present event right taking a bath, I don't know what to do, what kind of doctor should i consult with or what actions can I take myself, I've already shaved off all my pubic hairs in the crotch area and am currently using baby powder to isolate the odor?
Here is the issue. The first sign of a problem began in July 07 with what I thought was a heat rash with lesions in the crease between my inner thighs and genitals. Then I began experiencing itching and bumps similar to hard whiteheads on both inner thighs only, but there was no puss in the bumps. After talking to several people including an MD it was concluded that it was Jock Itch. I began using Tanactin and other anti-fungal sprays.
Hi, Heat rash, also known as prickly heat, is a red pimply skin eruption that can appear when your child overheats. It shows up most often in folds of the skin and on parts of the body where clothing fits snugly. These places include the chest, stomach, neck, crotch, and buttocks. It's considered a mild condition -- common and not particularly serious. But heat rash is a sign that your child is too warm. It can be annoyingly itchy.
I had protected sex with someone late sunday night and did not wash my crotch area. When I awoke on Monday, I had the slight rash which has become very red now. I also had a cut on my thigh on Sunday that I was using Neosporin on, is it possible that its a reaction to that? Some forums lead me to believe that it could be due to the female having a yeast infection but they were not clear if this could happen if safe sex was practiced.

Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examnation but it can be intertrigo, heat rash or contact dermatitis. An intertrigo is an inflammation (rash) of the body folds. It most commonly occurs due to bacterial, viral or fungal infection. An intertrigo usually appears red and raw-looking, and may also itch, ooze, and be sore. Pls keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.
Well without much research I get some abreva and zylactin and start putting it on to not much good other than a ton burning. Also, I asked him about a red rash on the left side of my testicles which he didnt think much of and said he wasn't impressed with. I wasnt that concerned about it since I've played football all my life and have had jock itch and crotch rot plus I wear compression shorts about everyday for work.
Well ive had heat rashes before in my crotch area between my leg and genital area, i had one the other day and used some stuff for jock itch but now there are a bunch of little bumps like whiteheads and now im freaking out so any help would be appreciated.
Hello, These itchy bumps can be due to irritated hair follicles causing folliculitis, hives, scabies bites or viral rashes. The other possibilities are of heat rash or sweat dermatitis. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort.
THis started for me in the summer when i got VERY sweaty down there. It can also be a Heat rash. They told me mine was fungus when i went to get it checked out and said it is nothing to worry about. They gave me ointment (i forgot what it was called). But another ointment i have is called "Hydrocortisone Cream1% with aloe". It HELPS A LOT! Just wash the area thoroughly, dry it well and apply the ointment.
Hi, There are several causes of blisters. 'Blisters are usually caused by injury to the skin from heat or from friction, which create a tear between the epidermis—the upper layer of the skin—and the layers beneath. Short periods of intense rubbing can cause a blister, but any rubbing of the skin at all can cause a blister if it is continued for long enough. Blisters form more easily on moist skin than on dry or soaked skin, and are more common in warm conditions.
4...Does the rash, spots etc: come directly after the tingling or can there be a lull of a few symptom-less days between them?
they showed up a few days after i got the tear and started putting the zinc cream down there. they itch bad! but its almost like a heat rash except the spots are bigger. they never were blisters and dont look like any of the pictures i have seen, but that can be misleading. they almost burn...i have tried using triple antibiotic ointment on them and that made them burn like hell! i had to take a bath right after to get it off.
I have had itching in my genital region only on my scrotum and crotch area,(mild to real itchy)I do believe I have sensitive skin and have had "soap" rashes on my hips and armpits were my clothes rub. I have never seen any blisters in my genital region.
Next day I started having strange sensations (tingling/irritation) in my crotch. After couple wks it seemed to subside, but 6 wks later, the tingling/prickly came back. I also developed a red blotch/rash (not raised, just red) on scrotum and underside of shaft where the two rest. Over the few months before this, my wife had 2 yeast infections, and since I been on antibiotics for years (acne), I thought could be yeast. I treated with Monistat for a wk and it did seem to help.
Some girls develope extra skin around the crotch and butt from pants rubbing and things like that, which causes those bumps you were talking about. It coudl also be heat rash, sweating, or stress. Try changing soaps first. Make sure you're washing once or twice a day down there thuroughly with a warm wash cloth and soap. Rinse thuroughly with warm water afterwards. This should clear it up. I used an acne body wash for extra-sensative skin and it worked great. My problem is totally gone.
after having sex with my first sexual partner i have developed a rash. at first it was a red blotch (no bumps in blotch)near the base of my penis on the scrotum about one inch in diameter with two pimple like bumps around the periphery the area itched and the "pimples" were painful. then the rash appeared to spread over the course of the next couple of days. the original marks faded and an area of new painful itchy pimples started and spread all the way to my lower abdomen.
For the past few years, almost every time after I masturbate I get red splotchy patches on the head of my penis, that sometimes last for days, and often they are followed by dry, scaly-looking patches as well. Again, this usually happens after masturbation, and I don't masturbate very often, maybe 3 times per week. Last time I masturbated I had a very sore area on the crown of my penis, only to the touch. The spot has maybe a tiny, pinhead sized bump that is quite red, but it has no discharge.
I went to my PCP and she took a close look at the rash. She said with strong confidence “okay that is NOT herpes! It looks like a heat rash.” “Usually we take a sample of sores but there are no sores to swab. Come back if you have symptoms.” I got the blood test and went on my way. I still wasn’t relieved because of everything I was reading online. Some cases can be very mild and some people don’t even have symptoms. I thought this rash could be a mild symptom.
Also had pain in anus that comes and goes, coupled with a moist feeling in anus and crotch that also comes and goes. Went back to dr. 10 weeks 4 days after sex who said it sounded more like a prostate infection than herpes. Dr. ordered another HerpeSelect test and put me on an antibiotic for prostate infection. A few days later i noticed burning sensation on left side of torso in the same bands where shingles normally takes place. Valtrex helped torso burning a lot.
Changes in color, consistency, or amount Constant, increased vaginal discharge Presence of itching, discomfort, or any rash Vaginal burning during urination The presence of blood when it’s not your period time Cottage cheese-like vaginal discharge A foul odor accompanied by yellowish, greenish, or grayish white vaginal discharge If you have a vaginal discharge along with any of these signs, consult your health care provider for diagnosis and treatment.
Using a condom significantly reduces the risk of any STD being transmitted, unfortunately with Herpes if your partner has it and his outbreaks are outwith the coverage of a condom then it is possible to contract it from skin to skin contact with an infected area ..... however this doen't sound like Herpes to me it's more like a heat rash or a Bacterial Infection, either way you need to see your Doctor to see what he thinks could be causing this .....
3 days later I experienced tingling sensations in my scrotum along with a red rash, abnormal scrotal movement and it felt a little sticky, and moist all the time. The area didn't look right - however, there were no lesions. I had a slight discharge, when forced from the base of the penis to the head, but it was cultured for Gonoreah and Clymdia- which was negative...(Could I be experiencing a reaction to non-GC bacteria, yeast or fungus?
i had unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex with african prostitute 13 months ago. 2 months after the act i got very disorientated, excessive heat in crotch area, terrible fatigue, red rash on penis upon erection and rubbing, terrible headaches, sensitivity to light, tingling under scrotum.. i thought i was dying. rushed to the doctor paranoid about hiv..had tests and proved ok, had obvious std tests done, only small bacterial infection showed up.
It's easy to get fungal infections when you're sweating a lot and you share equipment or towels with other men who are also sweating. That might explain your crotch rash. --It's natural to have headaches a lot when you're working out, but if you're anxious, you can usually magnify them in your head. --My thighs often stratch or feel tender when I'm walking, because the muscles are sore from squats or they're irritated from sweating a lot.
