About a couple weeks or so I noticed a few circular lesion/rash under my buttocks(cheeks) and a few in the inside of my buttocks. I am unsure how and when they got there i just hapened to feel one. The one near my crack itches sometimes and unfornately I scratched it until it bleed. I am not sure if I had an allergic reaction to something or if it is cancer or something else. it's so embarrassing and ugly. Also they look dry.
Rockoff, About a week and 1/2 ago I devloped a rash somewhat uniformly on both sides of my buttocks. The rash eventually was concentrated on the bottom of each cheek and in the folds (where my butt meets the top part of my leg). It is not in my anus. I am not an obese person but I am husky and tend to sweat alot this time of year. I think the rash came about when I was wearing jeans and boxer briefs.
I get a rash often between my thighs that I believe is heat rash. The pain from the rash comes and goes but my skin has gotten thicker and darkened in that area now. I also have developed small, painless bumps in the area. There are at least 50 on each leg; they are flesh colored to light brown and raised. They are pimple like but when squeezed, nothing comes out (they do bleed a little when squeezed.) I have had these bumps for several months.
I never mentioned it because I don't want to make a big deal about something that can be as simple as a heat rash. I'm trying to go through my head what it could be. I was walking a lot so there was plenty of sweat and rubbing in my tight jeans. Unrelated, but I've been on minocycline for a few months. Sometimes I forgot to take my pill throughout the week of the vacation. I got a couple of spider bites.
She has a rash between her buttocks cheeks. What causes this. She says it itch. could the rash come from having anal sex.
Hello, From the symptoms the possibilities of boils, heat rash, sweat dermatitis or scabies rash. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs. My sincere suggestion is to get it evaluated from a doctor. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
In only the last 10 days, my 8yr old son gets a weird looking itchy heat rash that appears when he overheats. It can appear on any part of his body from his face, back, chest, arms, buttocks ... anywhere. To look at (for which I have some very clear photos taken) it looks like small scars or like whip lashes. I am suspecting that he caught something when he was in a wood with his friend. The strange thing it disappears as quickly as it appears in relation to his temperature.
Other areas heat rash.
If there are raised bumps or rash on buttocks, then it could be due to like pressure urticaria, dermatitis, fungal infection, eczema, psoriasis and very dry skin. STD like herpes is possible but less likely. It can also be an allergic reaction to irritants like synthetic fiber or toiletries. Please consult a dermatologist for confirmed diagnosis. Hope this helps. Do let me know if there is any thing else and keep me posted. Take care!
I have a small reddish rash on my arm that is darkening notice dark spot what looks like a rash on the side of my buttocks and one beneath my chest could this be from std or some sort of skins disorder or from maybe stress and anxiety
My 5 year old son developed a rash on his buttocks this morning. Since then it has spread to his thighs, arms, shoulders, trunk, neck, and last to his face. It does not seem to itch and he does not have a fever. Anyone had this experience?
It is small and there are red bumps on my right upper thigh and then a larger generalized patch on my left, back inner thigh near my underwear line and buttocks. There is a point at which the rash is very itchy. It usually goes away after a week to 10 days. I have included pics of both here: upper right inner thigh: http://www.flickr.com/photos/63179428@N00/1318477436/ back left inner thigh (near underwear line and buttocks): http://www.flickr.
About 2 months ago, after swimming at the YWCA, I developed a rash on my back and on the buttocks, and down the back of my legs. I went to my Dr, who put me on an antibiotic and prednisone. Within a week, it cleared some but never really went away, and yes, it was itchy. A month or so later, the rash came back, and I was put on prednisone again plus a cream. It cleared up. Now it's back again. I am suppose to have knee replacement surgery in a few days. What could this be?
I went on a whole slew of different penicillins over the next 6 months to kill off whatever was on my face, which then went to my buttocks. A throat culture then determined "Overgrowth of C. Albicans", but no symptoms were present i.e. thrush, etc except ring-worm in the buttocks area. That resolved mostly after several bouts of diflucan. I was tested negative for HIV three times.
It could be something as simple as a heat rash. Did something bite you maybe? Were you outside? Another possiblity is bed bugs or fleas (I know that's gross). One time hubby and I were going crazy with little red sores and itching, and it ended up to be fleas the cat brought it and he laid on the bed and then we got bit. Don't panic, give it a few days. It could also be the beginning of hives. You can get hives anywhere. If you keep getting new ones, then just go to a general doctor.
hiya, well im no doctor but it sounds like good old sweat/heat rash to me,im 36 and ive had psoriasis since i was 19,bad periods & not so bad,i get scaley spots in the same place as yours and although heat/sweat can intensify them they never really look like pimples, more like lots of little roundish rashes with white scaley skin.
Hello, These small itchy bumps on butt cracks can be sweat dermatitis due to moisture(due to sweating or frequent washing), friction rub caused by the abrasion caused by clothing, the pressure of sitting, contact dermatitis by chemical irritants like laundry soaps, colognes and scented toilet paper or skin conditions like heat rash, eczema or seborrheic dermatitis.
but on top of that I have chronic hives..which is whole another story. i think the heat rash it some sort of hives actually....i've had the form you have all my life. it's just how your body is built. i have pretty sensitive skin and just driving in the heat brings out red blotchy on my chest. when i take really hot showers i get them where my skin is thin. if your itchiness is really bad try putting really thick lotion on. i know it's frustrating to hear that you have to live with it...
Forcing past 2 weeks have had mild soreness And some tingling sensation in buttocks Dermatologist said some minor follicultis and GP Said mild heat rash. To me can't really see anything and trust dermatologist a bit more Than what General practioner said. Neither one addressed my question which I pose to you What could be causing this? Before two weeks ago I had Zero issues there. Never any rashes or anything. I am not a person that sweats a lot at all. Any thoughts on causes(s)?
My dermatologist said I had mild Follicultis and general practioner (not my regular guy) Said heat rash. I see no rash at all and dermatologist Said just really minor follicultis. Prior to two weeks ago never had any soreness, rashes Or anything. I don't even sweat down there. Neither doctor addressed my question and concern. What could be causing this?
For about 2 weeks, several times a day, I feel heat starting to form on the outer side of my right leg. But I have no rash and my skin does not feel hot to the touch. Please someone help us figure out what is going on.
Okay so for the past 2 or 3 months I have had an extremely itchy rash on my inner thighs, buttocks, and penis. On my thighs and buttocks the rash looks tiny small red bumps, and when I scratch them too much they cut and scab over. On the head of my penis I have two larger bumps that only occasionally itch, and seem to fluctuate in size. On the shaft of my penis are two large bumps as well.
Two days later the little red circle is now about 2 inches in diameter blood red like the first few layers of epidermis has been rubbed away and i have a few more smaller circles of the same nature on the other cheek also very moist and painful. Can someone tell me if this is caused by my buttocks rubbing together in the heat or something else, also a way to treat it. Thank you.
Blockage of sweat glands of the skin covering the buttocks can result in heat rash. Usually resolves on its own without any medical intervention. Impetigo can cause red bumps at the sites of break in the continuity of the skin.Folliculitis is an infection of hair follicles. For exact diagnosis and management a clinical examination is necessary. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause. Best luck and regards!
Would this rash be red and itchy?. Also, would it appear on the shoulders and buttocks, maybe two weeks after exposure? Lastly, would it go away and re appear weeks later on different part of body?
They went away for a little while but have recently came back, and so has the rash, But that could be because of the heat. And i get coldsores all the time. I've never had sex, so It's not Herpes.
started under her chin yesterday and i assumed it was a heat rash as our air conditioner was not working. today the rash is all over her entire back from the nape of her neck down to her waistline and from her chin again to her waist line and on both sides. however there is no rash at all on her shoulders, arms, face, hands, buttocks, genitals, legs or feet. they are slightly raised and red looking some almost look like a scratch mark.
I'm a 45 year old male in Atlanta who has right buttocks pain and some lower right back pain, especially when sitting. Have seen an Orthopaedic/back pain management M.D. in Atlanta and he took an MRI of my lower back and said it looked normal...no bulging discs. He said it might be pirformis or SI joint related. Have had a pirformis injection, an SI joint radio frequency ablation (where they burn away the nerve endings) and have also gone to 3 months of therapy.
