heat

Avatar f tn Anything that kills skin will kill warts, because warts are skin overgrowths cause by a virus. I use condylox and occasionally, organic ACV.
Avatar n tn Not even if you have abrasion, sores, etc. The virus in the blood has been sufficiently exposed to ambient oxygen and heat. It rermains not more alive.
Avatar f tn No, HIV dries up really fast. Hepatitis can survive for 3 weeks on surfaces if it isn't cleaned off. Bacteria can't survive when dry. But they have strict requirements to clean in between people so I wouldn't worry about it.
Avatar n tn t going to be transmitted without direct skin on skin contact with the virus with some heat and friction to get it into the body.
2054929 tn?1333945870 Bleach can really kill the virus? I would have thought heat would have been a better source but I really don't know. I will look into it. Have a great evening!
Avatar m tn Hello, When doing laundry with a person who has known genital herpes, could accidentally wearing that person's clean underwear pose a risk of aquiring the HSV? I know that soap kills the HSV but does the clothes dryer on highest heat also kill the virus? I'm concerned that not enough soap was used, it was a very large load.
Avatar f tn And a very healthy/cheap way.. Feel free ti drink it with water after u get the virus, as it kills on contact. My Kids quit throwing up within three hours of getn a bug. Since trying this method, they haven't been sick in the last 10 months. Good luck sweetie, hope you feel better!

237053 tn?1258828426 I know this has been brought up before and if I remember correctly many had a heat intolerance. Is this a symptom of lyme? Well, I DON'T! I actually feel better in the heat. Hot baths really help me especially when I add the Epson salt. And I def prefer warm sunny weather over cold. Is this abnormal for lyme?
Avatar f tn I don't think so... it's just water, heat, and steam, unless you use a starch. Check the tags first though because some materials burn when ironed.

7758733 tn?1402589420 At the end of the day, my back kills me so I'll lay in bed with a heating pad to my back. And my baby moves alot, does she feel the heat? Maybe a dumb question but it is safe to use right?
461838 tn?1255790216 It's the heat for me, regardless whether it's sunny or overcast. I went through most of my tx in the hottest summer NZ has had for years and I felt so sick and uncomfortable when ever I was exposed to the heat. Weird cos I've always been a heat lover... The brightness of the sun just increased my discomfort. Once we got in to autumn where we still had bright sun but not as much heat or humidity I found I could actually enjoy the sunlight for a while.
Avatar f tn The heat kills me too. I'm in Washington DC where it gets hot and humid. During summer months we do a lot of field trips with my students. I would be ok with that in 'normal' circumstances but I'm 25 weeks preggo and I don't enjoy taking 20 kids out in the city! It's physically demanding and I'm not in the best shape of my life right now. I guess, I'm venting since you've touched the subject ;) I honestly don't have a recipe for surviving the heat.
1760800 tn?1406753451 I handled 106 better than this stuff - Who else out there is feeling the humidity more than the heat we had. My legs feel like lead weights when I am outside. In the AC much better. Never wished for fall and winter more! LOL!!!
Avatar f tn I'm 25+5and I have that same thing. My lower left side of back kills as well as my hips.
10946054 tn?1417108117 Same here my back kills me from working on my feet for so long. Going to get a belly band soon and hopefully that'll help!
250084 tn?1303307435 I may be wrong, but I thought INF kills the cells that are infected. It cannot kill the virus itself, but kills the infected cell "factories" that the virus needs to replicate. Riba also attacks those factories, and seems to "mark" them, so it is easier for the INF to locate and eliminate them from the body. New treatments in the future may go after the virus directly, like some of the HIV drugs do.
Avatar m tn Hector and orphanedhawk's observations are spot on as is your doctor's comment on boiling. However, a properly used pressure vessel kills Hepatitis Virus not by 'boiling' but by the raising of the pressure and the subsequent sudden drop when the pressure is released. This applies to HBV, not sure about HCV. Bottom line, tattoo artists, dentists, acupuncturists, doctors, nurses, and phlebotomists should all be using one-use, disposable equipment in this day and age.
