Any moms to be live in a hot climate? I live in Florida where it is very humid all the time and now after a couple days trying to figure out why I have felt so crappy, my husband finally figured it out lol anyways anyone have any tips on staying cool while pregnant?

Yes, I do feel nauseous when overheated but have done so all my life. I grew up in Miami so heat exhaustion was always a concern. As I grew older ,it seemed to take less and less heat exposure to bring on the nauseated feeling. Can't say it's related to MS or if it's just my body chemistry. Independent of the cause, one should always make sure you are adequately hydrated.

s actually someone like a real stroke but heat stroke or heat exhaustion affects the brain in a different way and the ongoing symptoms are related to the body's reaction to heat or sun. A year ago I believe I suffered some heat exhaustion/stroke and since then, when i start getting hot during activities, i get chills up and down my spine, arms and legs. My calf muscle on my left side will tingle/becomes numb, i get dizzy , my face gets red, i can feel my heart pounding in my head and my breathing is rapid but shallow and i have trouble regulating it for a few minutes. It scares me.

thanx for the comment but cows are only pregnet for 9 months and horses first heat is 10 days after foaling and thier 2 heat is 30 days , someone told me for cows it depends on the grass conditions, i dont know i could ask our vet but this is more fun, so thanks and looking forward to more answers,

My outer body gets way too hot and I can feel the heat myself and am too hot even in winter and it keeps me awake and i'm even hot with the radiator off, no pajamas, window open and the thinnest feather quilt (feathers cooler then synthetic) and my hands and feet are roasting but the only part of me that can sweat is my chest, back, armpits and hands. Other people feel the heat coming off me and my dad worries about it.

Your are probably fine as long as it isn't causing you temperature to go over 100.4 and stay there for an extended period of time.make sure you are staying very well hydrated so you don't get heat exhaustion.

under no circumstances I have ever had to blanketed my horses even in the coldest cold spells here in Alaska but at the same time we do not work are horses out during this time of year, blanketing them dose tent to make them lose there ability to keep there own heat in with there winter coat and I know that the winters there do in no way get as cold as we get up north.

For some reason this only happens in the sun and sometimes the heat. Just while walking from the car it happens. Feeling like passing out, dizzy, throwing up and the excessive sweating for about 5-10 minutes. After the 5-10 minutes it goes away. Has happened several times now.

I don't know about early labor but you could easily get heat exhaustion or heat stroke so take extra care and make sure you are staying hydrated and do anything you can to try and keep yourself cool.

I have called around a lot - $600 just seems to be the average rate in our area. The SPCA here is the Humane Society - and I guess the reason it takes 6 months or more for them to call back is because their spay/neuter fee is so reasonable compared to what all the local vets are charging.

i was walking in the sun for probably 3 hours it was very hot 46 c this day, suddenly i felt my heart is racing and beating so fast with 3 ectopic beats in very few second, i stopped and put my hand on my heart it was beating too fast and strong, i cooled myself down and drank some fluids it all went back to normal(but the ectopic beats lasted for a week), went to a cardiologist he said i'm fine and it's just heat exhaustion, is it AFib or just palpitations with heat exhaustion?

I have had 2 heart attacks (age 46 and 48) from clots in a tiny artery, branch of a branch of LAD and ever since have issues breathing when it's humid outside. I am working for 1 month in a carpenter shop with no A/C, only fans and it has been as high as 99. I think I've gotten heat exhaustion twice now, missed 2 days of work. Hi about 20 years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, I was also told at that time by an infectious disease doctor that I had EBV. I feel there is something else wrong with me because if I do what the doctors say then I'm in so much pain I can't move, I've had catatonic states, I can not control my body temperature if I get to cold it's like I have hypothermia, and if I get to hot it's like heat exhaustion.
