My husband suffered heat exhaustion a few days ago. He ran a fever of 101 all night w/ sweating off and on. Thinking he would be in the a/c he went back to work the next day and had to be outside to fix a part on the equipment he was running which set him off to a severe headache, he quit sweating, dry and hot, his muscles were starting to cramp and he said he felt like he could vomit, but never did. He had all the symptoms of a stroke, but didn't lose consciousness.

It's so easy to forget proper hydration and cooling during the beginning of the summer months. I'm guilty of that myself. Living in a sub-tropical region and being sensitive to heat, I have to force water and Gatorade down my throat regularly if I'm outside.
Dehydration can cause nausea and lead to a vicious cycle where the dehydration and heat do lead to heat exhaustion because the nausea prevents the intake of fluids which just adds to the dehydration and leads to the body getting hotter and hotter.
You might be losing too many salts due to sweating and on that exhaustion episode might have lost minerals in salts. You have to rehydreate yourself with water and salts. Measure your blood pressure and keep it in normal range and go for testing of your minerals. Take care!
I remembered then in high school I got heat exhaustion when I went out for the field hockey team and had a fever of 103 and it took a whole day to recover and I was an athlete then, but not now. 2 of my coworkers have both lost days to heat so far and neither of them have heart issues so I'm being very cautious from now on.
A year ago I believe I suffered some heat exhaustion/stroke and since then, when i start getting hot during activities, i get chills up and down my spine, arms and legs. My calf muscle on my left side will tingle/becomes numb, i get dizzy , my face gets red, i can feel my heart pounding in my head and my breathing is rapid but shallow and i have trouble regulating it for a few minutes. It scares me.

It has really interfered with my ability to think clearly and lucidly. Is it possible that these car naps caused me to have some sort of heat exhaustion damage to my brain? Even if I were extremely exhausted, would my body be alerted out of sleep when the temperature or CO2 level gets too high before any damage to my nervous system begins?
I have been to a neurologist several years ago and he says that eventually the headaches will go away.

What followed was physically the worst 8 days of fever, sweats, dry mouth, exhaustion, bone pain, I have ever known. Upon research, I concluded that an adverse reaction with the steroidal foam. I have of course stopped, and 4 days later, only mild fever, face still swollen, and awful dry mouth. Still exhausted, and now experiencing the associated 'withdrawal rash' side effect of the foam. I read about heat exhaustion and heat stroke but those happen during the exercise (if overdone), not an hour after in an air conditioned room and those symptoms are far more severe than what I had.
My question is, why do I get a fever and drowsiness only an hour after the exercise but feel completely fine and barely tired (though sweating a lot) during and right after it? I drink a lot of water before and after.

It is good that you are feeling better already. Heat-related illness such as heat exhaustion occurs when your body gets too hot. This can be caused by physical exercise or hot weather. It can present with heavy sweating, feeling weak, dizziness, nausea, headache, fast heartbeat and dark-colored urine, which indicates dehydration. It is important that you get out of the heat quickly. Drink plenty of water or other fluids.
I don't know about early labor but you could easily get heat exhaustion or heat stroke so take extra care and make sure you are staying hydrated and do anything you can to try and keep yourself cool.
i was walking in the sun for probably 3 hours it was very hot 46 c this day, suddenly i felt my heart is racing and beating so fast with 3 ectopic beats in very few second, i stopped and put my hand on my heart it was beating too fast and strong, i cooled myself down and drank some fluids it all went back to normal(but the ectopic beats lasted for a week), went to a cardiologist he said i'm fine and it's just heat exhaustion, is it AFib or just palpitations with heat exhaustion?

I've had a low-grade Fever of Unknown origin for 7 weeks as I write this, with extreme exhaustion. I have been through extensive testing and had many things ruled out, like Mono, Lyme, UTIs, tumors. I've had CT Scan of abdominal area, Blood Cultures, Urine cultures, Chest X-ray. I tried a week of Cipro as I was sure I had a UTI (my fever started the day after sex), and my pain went away but my fever and fatigue remain.
I am seeing an Infectious Disease Doctor in 4 weeks.
