Heat exhaustion after effects

Common Questions and Answers about Heat exhaustion after effects

I run no risk of wearing out my heart from overworking it. I mowed the grass in 80 degree heat the other night - my MS leg objected to the heat, but my BP didn't really budge. When I came in to rest my BP was only 94/62. there is a water aerobics class I am doing twice a week - it does make me feel better and I told the doctor that the exercise helped but it was only temporary. By the time I get back to my desk I am again exhausted.

I was on the verge of heat stroke twice in my college years, and appart form the splitting headache, that is exactly how it feels. I usually don't do anything but go to my car and then inside again after it is 80 or higher. If it is hot enough to cause sweat, it is too hot for me! I went to the St. Patricks parade and it was 82.

I just brought a waterproof clear patch thing that can go over it. It helps a little bit. But the exhaustion is just insane. I apologize if theres mispells or grammar errors, I am nodding off here! Is there any other medications that might provide the same relief but without the tiredness? Like slow-release morphine or oxycotin? I have tried hydrocodone, oxycodone (percodect), darvocet, ultram... most of them work but wear off within 2-3 hours.
I've heard that all the side effects everyone is talking about can be caused after you have a child too. Having a baby severely upsets your hormones natural balance. Naturally a mother's sex drive can go down and there is a high chance that the depression is postpartum. If you have had the IUD inserted right after you have had a baby, you could easily mistake certain 'side-effects' for what the body is naturally going through.

), and several hours of productive studio time when it became too hot to work outside. The noticable, but tolerable effects were less 'oomph', and a shortage of breath. after 6 weeks, the energy levels began to fall away, coinciding with an increase in the Riba rash. At 8 weeks, went to see the Doc re. the rash, who prescribed a steroidal treatment CLOBETASOL PROPIONATE FOAM .05%. This is where it went rapidly downhill.
The only side effect that I have had so far is that my vision is now clearer, like it should have been after the the first Lasik Procedure I had a year ago. LOL HOWEVER, my concern is mainly the emotional / mental side effects after stopping yasmin, as well as excessive weight gain after stopping. (while not pregnant) Has anyone either Experienced these side effects after stopping yasmin OR known of anyone who has or know anything about these effects. I am guessing they are caused from the drop in the hormone levels. Also, I have heard about primrose oil and flaxseed oil being good to regulate hormones or help PMS symptoms.

They say if you're going to Hyperstimulate you will do so a few days after retrieval. Well, my bloating, etc....just got worse and worse after retrieval. I really thought they were going to cancel my transfer. Luckily, it didn't get too bad, but progressively kept getting worse after my transfer. It's been a rough week, BUT, yesterday I started feeling better. I've had more IVs and blood this week than everything else combined! I'm still having cramps, but they're definitely mild.
Last year I had an ablation of the lining of my uterus. The dr. told me that I could'nt get pregnant. Over a year later, I am pregnant and scared to death. I have been reading up on ablation, and have came across nothing but "you should'nt get pregnant after an alation, because it's high risk for the mother and baby". I do not know how far along I am, but I believe about 4 mths already. I go to the dr.
I am looking for more info on pregnancy after an endometrial ablation. I had an ablation in May 2002. I practically cut out salt from my diet over the last few years and switched to Liquid Amino when I had to have salt. Big mistake. But then these people dont necessarily take their BP and pulse after each meal! Second to that, the differences in pulse / BP after eating will vary from person to person and since you are borderline hypertensive, I would say it all sounds pretty normal. I would imagine that the tests you've had done have been carried out in relation to your general hypertension and not specific to your observations regarding eating.

I must get out of bed and start walking around or sit in a chair for the pain to start going away. after an hour or two, the pain basically disappears. My son is starting varsity for his soccer team after years and years of training. I've missed all of his games so far because the VX950 rash is sensitive to sun and heat. Yesterday morning my entire family left for an away tournament. I broke down when they pulled out of the driveway. The lake, camping, fishing, vacation has all been off limits this summer. The Interferon and Ribavrin is taking it's toll as well.
I have no desire to use any pills at the moment, and I don't expect that to change. I was abusing hydros after 2 shoulder surgeries. Counseling and support from friends and family (who I was deathly afraid to talk to) has been amazing. My best friends wife came over and took my hydros from me, and basically helped save my life. I am lucky to have them.

I agree; heat exhaustion, dehydration, and/or electrolyte imbalance can cause such symptoms; if it persists it may be more serious and needs to be followed up by a Doctor.
we will be getting married before end of summer, any suggestions as to why the bleeding after orgasm? The side effects i had are; mood swings (would cry over everything and nothing), acne (bad), hair loss(slight, but enough to notice-a brush full every other time i brush hair),the feeling that everyone hates me(i guess that would be anxiety)...and the list goes on and on. Most of these have cleared up in the 3 weeks it has been out.
I started feeling sick every morning (gagging but not vomiting) starting at about 10 days after the procedure. I was confirmed pregnant on day 14 after the procedure by blood test. I had the symptoms before I was confirmed positive and I also thought they were in my head, but there could be more to it. I had a failed IUI a few months before and I did not have any symptoms at all. Good luck!

Out of 11 mature eggs only 4 fert after icsi and only 1 viable embryo. I too had OHSS after egg retrieval and am really hoping that this works. So far no signs of period coming so keeping fingers crossed. Does anyone know how many days after ET a period will come if it didn't work?
Because I work outside, the danger of overheating and suffering heat exhaustion or heat stroke were of higher concern that the premature heartbeats for which the medicince was to help. My point is that these side effects were never listed as potenials in patients, yet I personally know of three cases where the patients had nearly the exact same results a few weeks after getting on a Toprol dosage. I had ignored the symptoms for about a week until my family convinced me to call my doctor.
