Avatar f tn The second took place the day after I flew back to Sydney from travelling in the USA two months ago. It was summer in LA and winter in Sydney so probably about 10C/25F degrees cooler (and I had been driving in the desert - death valley was 49 degrees Celsius/120 Fahrenheit!) California on the last day was a perfect 27 degrees / 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Sydney has mild winters it was between 10-15 degrees celsius / 50-60 Fahrenheit the day we got back but the nights were quite cold (4C/40F).
Avatar m tn s heat rash, prickly heat rash or some kind of other allergic reaction to heat or sun but i actually l live in australia and we have some hot days here....but i'm not actually exposed like with a holiday and hate not wearing sunscreen thinking it's the culprit. I had been told by a dr i might have an allergy to probiotic tablets but i'm taking them now without a problem.....had been told waterproof sunscreens might be bad...
Avatar f tn I have also had numb feet for the last 5 years, and where I had foot tingling 5 years ago also, the tingling returns in heat, if I put my hand above a hot plate on the stove, it brings on the tingling in my hands. I did get an igenex positive for lyme and a positive for bartonella, but cannot get ms out of my head, as my symptons to me still relate more to ms than lyme.. Does anyone have these particular symptons?
Avatar f tn I have moved to florida a year and a half ago and since then I have had a series of symptoms that no one can give me an answer on. I have developed an intolorence to heat, unable to sleep through the night, nausea, fatigue, head aches, feeling full after eating a small amount, irritability, anxiety and dry old looking skin. i recently saw my ob/gyn and she ran hormone and thyroid tests along with the usual yearly blood work and all came back normal. She prescribed Xanax to control the anxiety.
Avatar f tn t allow me to receive more than a 6 months supply before I leave for a year in Spain. They said to have someone in the US pick up the refills and mail them to me in Spain. But I've heard horror stories about Customs in Spain holding onto packages for weeks. I had a TT and thus needs my meds for survival (this is the only thing about my condition that freaks me out...the idea that I might not have the meds available for some reason).
Avatar m tn http://www.euro.who.int/__data/assets/pdf_file/0009/127656/e94500.pdf It helped me by understanding a little more about HIV reality and how "real" it is on my society, and of course how my situation looks under this statistics. For example I just found out that there were 382 new cases of HIV in my country in 2009. From this 382 new cases, 189 were heterosexuals, 143 were homosexuals, 40 drug users and 10 got it from their parents.
Avatar m tn I know I have to test, but Doc, what do you think the odd of being positive, given my situation? If it matters, I am living in Europe and the woman I had contact was Caucasian and I am circumcised.
Avatar f tn There is a medication that is being used in Europe that hopefully will be here in the US soon. It is a combination of Coreg and Tropol XL, I believe. This gives all the benefits of Coreg and reduces the tiredness that people complain about. Our relatives in Europe use the medication and have energy to travel to US and all around the states. I am not sure what the name will be of the medication when it becomes available in the US.
Avatar f tn If approved by the drug regulatory agencies in the US and Europe it will only be available in the US and Europe and I guess Canada in 2014. India and other countries may have to wait many years for the treatment to be available. Why do you think you need Sofosbuvir? The only treats that will be available next year are for genotype 2/3 (Sofosbuvie + Ribavirin) and treatment naive genotypes 1, 4, 5, 6 combined with peg-interferon and Ribavirin.
Avatar f tn If I heat feta up is it ok to eat? I made fig dressing which pairs nicely with feta. Or any good substitutes?
Avatar f tn heroin users use it in russia cuz it cheaper it is crazy!! google this it is spreading to europe and will be in the usa b4 too long the life expectancy of its users it 1-3 yrs u rot to death!
Avatar f tn You mention the heat, I believe I've heard Europe is having unusual hot weather. Can you get a window air conditioner for your bedroom? If that stops the sleep walking it could be well worth the cost to purchase and operate.
82861 tn?1333453911 Heat stroke can strike very quickly and with no real warning unless you know what to look for. If the National Weather Service issues a heat advisory, heat watch or heat warning, treat your pets the same way you would treat yourself and stay inside with the air conditioner. Limit outdoor time and keep activity to a minimum, particularly in the afternoon hours. Be cool!
Avatar m tn i recently developed what i would have previously dismissed as just heat rash around my scrotum and anus...while the skin is raw in places i do not see any vescicles and it is not painful just a little sore...again should i be concerned...am i at risk of catching herpes from her if i continue a relationship...
Avatar m tn I live in Europe and work in the medical field and ozone injections are NOT standard treatment here.
Avatar f tn Stroke is a medical emergency and can cause permanent neurological damage, complications and death if not promptly diagnosed and treated. It is the third leading cause of death in the United States. It is the leading cause of adult disability in the United States and Europe. It is the number two cause of death world-wide and may soon become the leading cause of death worldwide.
579258 tn?1250649343 higher consumption of dairy products in Northern Europe; higher consumption of meat in the U.S.; higher consumption of vegetables, legumes, fish, and wine in Southern Europe; and higher consumption of cereals, soy products, and fish in Japan. 230262 tn?1316645934 you can throw some heat in during the day as well...sometimes heat can actually make the pain worse.....also, have you tried chiropractic? after my runs thru all the docs and surgery, etc..chiropractic is what saved my lfe...
Avatar n tn All we can do is quote the odds; an online forum has no other way to address someone's fears and anxieties. By the way, It's 1 in 20,000, not 10,000 -- and some experts believe nobody ever catches HIV by receiving a **. And the odds are your partner didn't have HIV, so your actual risk probably is closer to 1 in a million. Could you be "the one"? Sure. You also could get hit by lightning.
