Avatar f tn Thirsty or not in that heat you have to stay hydrated that's why your weak and dizzy. Drink lots of water and stay cool you don't want to end up in hospital for dehydration.
Avatar f tn I live in Arizona and the heat is here! How do I survive this heat? I'm 29 weeks and hot all day. I feel like taking a cold shower and chugging pitchers of water.

Avatar f tn html There is a question in that second link about air conditioning being broken in heat in Arizona. Landlords MUST fix anything that will negatively affect the health of tenants such as no air. They have a few days, like 5 to fix it but it is required by law that they do so. So, if you are a tenant, use the laws to protect yourself. Boyfriends brother or not. You have rights.

Avatar f tn hello, my daughter will be four months when we go on vacation to Lake Havsu ARIZONA...it's usually high 90s low 100s when we will be going. What should I do to protect her from the sun/heat? How long do you think it's ok for her to be out? We will be on a boat most of the time that is shaded. It's actually pretty cool being under the shade...
Avatar f tn I am not sure if it’s the heat or the sun but it seems a lot more intense now than before. We also have a place in Arizona and 100+ never fazed me. This year I don’t even want to go there. Ha-ha leaving Saturday for AZ. That doesn’t make much sence does it?
4850939 tn?1370543309 I think its the heat. I'm from Texas, the valley, and I remember it getting pretty hot. I'm living in Arizona where temps get up to 110. I can't go for a walk without wanting to puke. A couple weeks ago we were outdoors, and I was in the shade but I still puked everything. I was well hydrated too but the heat still got to me.
Avatar m tn I have guessed it is a heat rash and it is nothing serious, since I am from Michigan and not used to growing up in the Arizona heat. It never gets bumpy or itchy. Always stays smooth, somewhat dry, shows up more the hotter it is it seems. Is this something to worry about?
Avatar m tn We cannot dictate what the Arizona lawmakers will ultimately decide, however we can unequivocally state that the cuts in transplant coverage will result in the unjustified and needless death of Arizona citizens. If this is not enough to justify reconsideration of coverage for these specified transplants, at least we will have provided Arizona lawmakers with accurate and current information so that their decisions can no longer be portrayed as having any medical basis.

12380259 tn?1424964291 I have really been wanting those peace teas in this hot weather and I was lookimg at the ingredients and it contains black tea, which I have heard isn't good for you caused by the amount of caffeine in it. But I looked up the caffeine amount and it says it contains 63mg and we are not supposed to have over 200mg so im feeling its okay to drink but does anyone know abt this?
5891248 tn?1406410864 The heat is miserable :/ My car reads 107° as well but I'm out in Las Vegas. Try your best to stay cool and hydrated!

1491755 tn?1333201362 PHOENIX – A second person denied transplant coverage by Arizona under a state budget cut has died, with this death "most likely" resulting from the coverage reduction, a hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday. University Medical Center spokeswoman Jo Marie Gellerman said the patient died Dec. 28 at another medical facility after earlier being removed from UMC's list for a liver transplant needed because of hepatitis C.
Avatar f tn Air conditioning, fan and not leaving work until after 5.
559187 tn?1330782856 Air conditioning is key! I live in Texas where it can get pretty hot as well. I stayed with my father in Italy, and he had no air conditioning. I did get overheated big time and never cooled and wound up in the emergency care center with IV fluids, then I cooled. If you're going to be out in the heat, you just can't move around much (if any). That's when I got into a heap of trouble-- when I rushed to get on a bus that was going to leave without me.
1666034 tn?1316911253 t know if its just this Arizona heat that got to me or if its that I have been eating bologna these past few days (uncooked) and I could possibly have been infected with Listeriosis? I looked up the symtoms and it said (nausea, neck pain, vommiting, etc) I have a lot of those symptoms. It could be that I'm paranoid or just really dehydrated. I haven't been able to keep ANYTHING down not even water. The DH bought me pedialight. What should I do? Go to the ER?
