I also have little red bumps popping up on my skin. They are on my arms, legs, and belly. Like Tommy (the original question I found, same situation, they are too small to be mosquito bites, and I don't lay in the grass to get chiggers. One of the doctors said something about it being a heat rash and using benadryl cream for the itch. How can heat rash be prevented? Does suntan lotion help?

He has not shown a heat differance like her so it made me wonder if its the in heat cycle. Im just trying to gather info at this point. I will ask the vet today of course but would like more than one opinion to make sure im giving my pets the best care. I also intend to call the breeder but again I value this forum greatly. My female dog is in heat. She has never had a liter or sex for that matter. I was inspecting her teats and they are bigger but not swollen, red or have any bumps whatsoever. She does however have clear brown fluid come out when I squeeze her nipples. I've tried looking online but they all say mastitis or cancer but other than the fluid, her teats are normal. Now I am worried sick. Can someone explain or help please.
So as i came home from the park yesterday my dog had gotten in her first heat .. she is spotting little bits of blood which is normal shes completley healthy .. now my question is is it bad that she has gotten her first heat before i spaded her .. ( because now she has expierenced what a heat is and by spading her your taken that away from her ) does this affect her negatively ...
s not uncommon for labs or any bigger dogs to be a year old when they come into their first heat. Are you going to breed all 3 of them? Please be responsible if you do plan to do this. The world is filled with unwanted dogs- everyone wants a puppy but when they get older and the fun is over many people abandon them.
A few months ago I noticed a few "bites" on my buttocks. They don't itch, but they hurt. It's not all over, just on a specific section of my back side. If I go to pop them - the "puss" is hard and white, or none at all. I disinfected my whole house and change my sheets almost everyday. Could it be allergies? I do have seasonal allergies - but I've never had actual bumps before. And if they are - how do I get rid of them.
As for what you should do about it... if she in heat, then it'll subside by itself in a few days. If I'm not mistaken, most female dogs go into heat between 2 & 4 times a year (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). I have 6 female dogs, but I always get mine spayed at 6-months, so I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to dogs in heat.
Hi, My dog Mindy is a 2 year old Dachshund she has been getting these red bumps on the bottom of her paws and these red like I'm not really sure how to discribe it but, they tend to go away but they keep coming back, I've taken her to the vet and they've said that it's just from the moisture and the weather (I live in Miami, Florida) I have pictures of the bumps but they aren't great pictures because my camera is bad,

But recently she has started this again and every time I look it up it says something about a suto pregnancy. She was in heat more than a month ago and this usually happens right afterwards. The only difference now is the timing and the fact that she's being extra careful and extra loving towards her stuffed animals. She's also very gently with me now and won't jump up on me. So I'm sure she's Fallin into my cycle and believes she has babies.
