Avatar n tn Hello, If the small bumps are itchy then prickly heat or heat rash is an important possibility. Another possibility is of sweat dermatitis. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort.
Avatar n tn Hello, Without examination it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis, but the symptoms are suggestive of prickly heat(malaria) or sweat dermatitis. Prickly heat (miliaria) is an itchy skin rash caused by trapped sweat. It tends to occur on areas of the body where skin touches skin, such as under the breasts, on the inner thighs, and under the arms. Tiny red spots with itching and pricking sensation are the characteristic appearance of this rash.

Avatar n tn Hi, Prickly heat presents as tiny red bumps on the skin in defined areas. It is also caused miliaria. Prickly heat is caused by the tiny sweat glands becoming blocked by profuse sweating. It is common in people exposed to long periods of heat and can develop as the result of high fevers. Prickly heat is itchy and uncomfortable, but does not generally pose a health risk on its own.
Avatar n tn I have small red bumps and blisters on my left pec. The blisters look ike it does when your skin bubbles from a sun burn. These started out as bumps about 4 days ago and just rcently started to blister. This has not spread anywhere else besides where it originally formed. Any possible diagnosis on what this is and if I should see a doctor.
Avatar f tn The splotchy rash is not painful and is not accompained by swelling, but, the blistering rash behind my knees was quite painful and the skin was entirely covered with the blisters and the area was very swollen. Avatar n tn It often occurs when you sweat more than usual due to a hot or humid climate. Excessive sweating can cause your sweat glands to become blocked, which can trap sweat underneath your skin. This causes irritation and results in a red rash developing. The symptoms of prickly heat tend to appear after a few days of being exposed to hot temperatures. The rash is normally made up of tiny spots, or bumps, surrounded by a patch of red skin. Sometimes, the spots look like tiny blisters.
Avatar m tn First, this problem has happened on several occasions. After a "sweaty" workout for several hours, I always seem to break out in some kind of rash. It looks like a bunch of BIG pimples. They are red and typically have a white or clear head on them. In a couple of days, they always seem to clear up with no medication. I have them as I am typing this as a result of playing 36 holes of golf yesterday in 90 degree heat.
Avatar n tn It occurs when the sweat gland ducts get plugged due to dead skin cells or bacteria. The trapped sweat leads to irritation, itching and to a rash of very small blisters, usually in a localized area of the skin. These rashes may occur in the face, neck, skin folds, areas of the body that may rub against clothing, such as the back, chest, and stomach.
Avatar n tn I am a 30-year-old female and am experiencing what seems to be a rash at the top of my butt crack. It is on both sides, not very large, and rather dark reddish in color. It is fairly dry and itchy, which is how I first noticed it. I do not know what this is, or how to treat it. I am an avid swimsuit-wearing sunbather and often exercise afterwords in my suit. Perhaps this is caused by heat and sweat? But, it's never happened before. What should I do, and should I be overly concerned?

Avatar n tn t red or hot just ichy and the further into summer it goes it gets worse and it looks like small blisters. The sun and temperature changes make it really bad. Steroid creams don't work any more and I don't really know what it is anyway. Does anyone else!
Avatar n tn Hello, It can be due to a boil, heat rash, sweat dermatitis or shingles rash if there are any accompanying painful blisters. For boils, Apply warm compresses on the boil and keep the area clean.Drainage of the boil is done only when it becomes soft and forms a head. Take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription.

Avatar m tn There is no discolouration, inflammation, pimples, blisters, burning urine etc. Just a mild skin itch that my doc said is due to sweat and heat. It does tend to itch on the side of my genital where my shaft hangs. I am wondering though if this is possibly "asymptomatic herpes" (relatively asymptomatic at least)? And that my doctor is taking my symptom too lightly? What is the general likeliness that someone would display symptoms such as fever, blistering, ulcering, etc.
15311409 tn?1439780092 My 8 month old pitbull has suddenly developed red bumps on her chest stomach and anus. Some are flat red spots other appear to have fluid like a pimple. We live in Seattle and I didn't notice the bumps until we got our record heat wave. The bumps on her neck I believe is irritation from her collar but not sure about the stomach and anus.
Avatar n tn I am a 29 year old guy and have what appear to be small, red, pimple-like bumps on the areas around my knees and right above the knees. The do not itch or burn or hurt in any way. I've had them for as long as I can remember and they really appear more in the summer months. I am not sure if they're ingrown hairs or heat bumps. Either way, how do I get rid of them and prevent them from appearing.
Avatar m tn Note the possible triggers that may be causing the rash to appear. Dust, sweat and heat may be contributory to this. I would not think this to be due to an infection. Viral exanthems or rash usually involve the whole body. Apply 0.05% Fluocinonide cream thinly over the area. Do not apply on normal skin. Keep the area clean and dry most times.
