Avatar m tn My three week old niece was admitted to the children’s hospital with some large blisters on her hands. So far, she’s had no fever, her white blood cell count is normal, and all bacterial cultures and spinal taps have been negative. We have the pediatric staff stumped. She had a couple small blisters (pimple-size) form on her hands and feet about three days ago. Several grew to pencil-eraser size and burst. One on her index finger grew much larger and threatened to cover her entire finger.
Avatar f tn The first sign is one or more superficial air-filled blisters on the fingers or palms. The blisters burst to leave tender, circular areas. The symptoms are aggravated by exposure to irritants including water, soap, detergents and solvents. Treatment includes protection from irritants, emollients hand creams and phototherapy in severe cases. During the day, your grandmother hydrate and protect hands with a protective and moisturizing cream.
Avatar n tn Also he told to avoid washing my hands to often, or to use latex gloves to avoid irritation on my hands when I use other type of soap. Avatar n tn I have been getting small blisters on the palms of my hands for a while, they burst and release a clear liquid then form a brown patch and then go away only to be replaced by new ones. They are slightly sore and leave dry patches of skin. I use a hand and nail cream every night.
Avatar m tn Hi, This could be dyshidrotic eczema which presents as small blisters on the hands or feet. Fluid from the blisters is serum that accumulates between the irritated skin cells and not sweat as was previously thought. There are many treatments available for dyshidrosis, however, few of them have been developed specifically on the condition. Topical steroids, emollients, , salt soaks, avoidance of known triggers, nickel-free diets, stress management counseling and even light treatment.
Avatar f tn I have these tiny tiny deep blisters popping up on my hands usually on the side or bottom of my fingers. The blisters are a dark color. They itch like crazy and don't pop unless I poke them. Then a tiny amount of clear fluid runs out. I have been to the doctor a few times and they all just guess one says contact dermatitis while the other says allergy, virus, impossible to tell. I get them on both hands sometimes in the same spots. Sometimes in completely new spots.
Avatar n tn i have tiny blisters on the palms of my feet, thought i had atheletes foot, but then it started on the palms of my hands, slightly itchy, they dry up and turn a light brown tiny spot. Avatar n tn Short periods of intense rubbing can cause a blister, but any rubbing of the skin at all can cause a blister if it is continued for long enough. Blisters are most common on the hands and feet, as these extremities are susceptible while walking, running, or performing repetitive motions. Blisters form more easily on moist skin than on dry or soaked skin, and are more common in warm conditions.
Avatar m tn Hello. Yesterday, I noticed a cluster of very small blisters on my palms. They're so small that you need to either run your finger over them to feel them, or see them in just the right light. They do not itch or are red. I freaked out a little because I'm a person who worries and over-reacts to everything. I did some online research and found topics such as herpes, eczema, and some others.
145992 tn?1341345074 I thought I got a splinter or something because when I touched them they were sore. Eventually they went away but I keep having little red bumps appear on my other fingers and palms of my hands. I have no idea what they are. Does anyone have any experience with this or know what they could be? Thanks.
Avatar f tn My entire body has been itching and I have tiny bumps all over me that look like flea bites or an allergic reaction the only place I have blisters is on my hands, fingers, wrists and I had one on the bottom of my foot. I have never had anything like this in my life until I was in contact with him after he came back from Iraq. Avatar n tn every few months i'll get water blisters on my hands, fingers and even going up my arms a little ways ....they itch and bust open with water but sometime hurt This discussion is related to Blisters on Fingers.
Avatar f tn This is so uncomfortable and nobody knows why I get these or what causes it. The blisters appear on the inside and outside and sides of fingers but not on the hands or anywhere else. Lastly when I shower, bath or even just wash the hands, they get wrinkly much quicker than what is normal. Even after a 2 minute shower or just washing they hands, they start to wrinkle and can get quite painful and dry. Any reason why hands would react in this way to water.
Avatar n tn Hello, I have had itchy small blisters on my hands for 10 years now. I've seen doctors and they say it's non-treatable. The blisters are starting to spread to the palm of my hand whereas before they only stayed on the front. They occur on both my hands. As soon as they are gone in one spot they start to pop-up on a different area on my hand. So, I just wanted to know if there is a cure out there for something like this and that it is treatable?
Avatar n tn s hard to keep your skin moist. I also have not had more than a couple of bouts of the blisters on my hands since using the coconut oil combined with the petroleum jelly.
Avatar m tn I had been going to my derm for this for years they start off small on the inside of my fingers and i bust them open clear liquid comes out they burn like crazy and hours later they are filled up and spread My doctor had put me on Mupirocin 2% ointment and i have been using it on and off for the last 4 years they dry the blisters up pretty much on contact without the pain.....
Avatar f tn Withing a couple of days, I noticed blisters on both hands mainly on the index and thumbs. They are mainly on the outside of my fingers. The blisters now, are on top of my fingers and knuckles. They are fluid filled and becoming quite painful. (I am also a chef and constantly washing my hands). I have been using Neosporin and bandaids/gloves while I work at the kitchen. So I don't know if the round-up is a coincidence or if it is a food allergy.
