Avatar m tn No question, however, the blisters formed on the feet and between the toes describe exactly what I had been experiencing for years. I quit eating wheat. The blisters went away! As soon as I eat any wheat products, I get the blisters within 4-8 hours. No creams or medicines have ever alleviated these blisters, just wheat abstinence. Avatar m tn She had a couple small blisters (pimple-size) form on her hands and feet about three days ago. Several grew to pencil-eraser size and burst. One on her index finger grew much larger and threatened to cover her entire finger. She has a few other tiny spots on her arms and legs, and several other small blisters on her feet. The blisters look like second-degree burns, mostly clear fluid inside, though some did contain a bloody mix.
545896 tn?1214447816 Hi, Foot blisters are a common occurrence for many people. The blisters are usually formed by friction, heat and sweating. There are a number of preventative measures that can be taken to stop these painful foot blisters from occurring. One of the most important factors is the type of shoes you are wearing. The shoes you wear may be causing the foot blisters to appear. Your shoes must fit correctly to prevent blisters from forming. Shoes that are too tight or too loose can cause foot blisters.
Avatar m tn Hi, This could be dyshidrotic eczema which presents as small blisters on the hands or feet. Fluid from the blisters is serum that accumulates between the irritated skin cells and not sweat as was previously thought. There are many treatments available for dyshidrosis, however, few of them have been developed specifically on the condition. Topical steroids, emollients, , salt soaks, avoidance of known triggers, nickel-free diets, stress management counseling and even light treatment.

Avatar m tn Diabetes, psoriasis, hypothyroidism, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis and malnutrition should be ruled out first. Itchy feet with tiny white blisters could be eczema, fungal infection, dermatitis, contact allergy with allergens like soap, chemicals etc. If you itch between toes too, there are chances that it is scabies, fungal infection and sweat dermatitis. See if your feet come in contact with particular grass, shrubs, chemical etc.
Avatar n tn The patient is a 73 year old female residing in an assisted living center who develops blisters on the bottom of the feet which are not painful to her. If the blisters are not de-bred(?) then they develop pressure ulcers which do cause her pain. According to my preceptor the blisters have been cultured with negative results. The patient has had this problem upwards of 5 years. I honestly don't have any idea how or where to figure this out.
Avatar f tn I went to the doctors complaining of itchy, red hands and occassionally on the top of my feet behind the toes and inbetween my toes. He gave me a cream to use saying that it sounds like scabies. I used this cream for a week from my neck down and showered every moring to remove it. This has not helped at all. He also gave me a hydroquortizone cream for my hands. It has been 2 weeks now and I am still the same.
Avatar f tn It was about 90 degrees out that day and I was subjected to roughly 9 hours without any climate control, and profuse sweating. I placed my feet into a cool foot bath until my feet got all pruned up. That helped a LOT, but as soon as they dried up, the itch came back. I applied cortisone cream and the itching deminished in only a few days. The bumps/spots lasted a week or so longer, but more of a cosmetic problem than a medical one by that point.
Avatar f tn I just came back from a week in Maui and I have had so much trouble with my feet --- they have blisters all over the bottom of the whole foot, between toes and everything. They are so so painful.
Avatar f tn Started out like athletes foot on his left foot then he started getting blisters between toes and on bottom of his foot they are very sore and make sores after they bust. He has some blisters on his hands also. He went to doctor several times they told him it was a fungus. Nothing has done it any good. Now its on both feet and hands. He is a diabetic and he has Sarcoidosis.
Avatar n tn Short periods of intense rubbing can cause a blister, but any rubbing of the skin at all can cause a blister if it is continued for long enough. Blisters are most common on the hands and feet, as these extremities are susceptible while walking, running, or performing repetitive motions. Blisters form more easily on moist skin than on dry or soaked skin, and are more common in warm conditions.
Avatar f tn The strange thing with the foot heat-rash is that my feet were in more shade then the rest of me, and the petichiae only appeared on my feet. (26 Celsius and a little wind, not *that* hot). I guess either sunblock or socks will work. I do think the thyroid levels are OK and have been so for well over a year. Test results from 10 months ago and 4 months ago were similar (and perfect), meds last adjusted about 2 years ago. I'm taking both T4 and T3.
Avatar m tn hi, about 2 and a half months ago i started getting small blisters on my feet and hands. they would leak a clearish fluid if popped. over time they have spreaded all over my body and some are just red bumps. i have them everywhere and in the last few dayson my genetals except from my face and neck. they are extremely itchy and have not responded to various forms of anti histamine or hydracortazone.
Avatar f tn Anyone else suffering in this heat?? I'm 34 weeks with swolen feet and I'm hoping it's from the weather. Don't have swolen hands or any other symptoms. Should I be concerned?
Avatar f tn Have you ever tried Preperation H on your blisters? It sounds weird but I had tonnes of blisters when I started hiking and a ballet dancer friend of mine said that all the girls had Prep H in their bags for their feet. It worked like a charm for my blisters.
