Hi I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I've had horrible heart Burn I've tried tums and maylox but neither seem to really work is there anything else I can take?
I'm the type of person that eats anything and everything I have heart burn every day thou and ok I'll check with my doctor and see if she can give me something
i was put on nexium over a year ago for very severe heartburn. currently still on it. but if it is heartburn, it obviosly is not doing the job. ive also been told that maybe its severe stress. whats your take on this. i would love to have the tests done just to know, but funds are tight right now.( theyve also mentioned having a endoscoppy) lastly i had a docter prescribe nito spray to me months ago. i never used it.

Ok so it's been a week that I've been having horrible heartburn, my chest hurts extremely bad it's hard to breath I also feel like there is something literally stuck in my throat!! I have tried zantac but it seems not to work at all has anyone had this before and what did u do to make it go away?
When you stop eating gluten it can take a week for it to all get out of your system before your heartburn subsides and it could take a day after you eat gluten to start having heartburn so most people can't figure out what is giving them the heartburn. People think spicy foods give them heartburn because they notice it more after eating something spicy...it's the gluten people! But that's just my opinion!
If you don't have any heartburn will your baby not have hair ? Because i mightve have heartburn maybe twice & im 29 weeks .
Is anyone else getting heart burn? I'm 14 weeks 5 days. I didn't have heart burn with my first until my third trimester.
So this is my second pregnancy and I am in my third trimester and the heart burn is a huge thing right now. I have had the whole time but now it is unbearable. Tums are my friend, any advice to help with the heart burn. Also it is anything I eat not specific foods. I mean water causes heart burn.
Try not to eat before you sleep or lie down. Don't get over full. Your stomach is being pushed so high up so the room for food is quite small. I'd say a hot cup of tea ( caffeine free of course) with your meal. But try to drink after you finish eating. Sometimes if you eat and drink the food gets elevated but you don't get full so it causes your stomach to over fill. Go for a walk after you eat to help your food digest a but quicker.

I got omeprazole from my gp when I was pregnant last time and I took one a day it stopped the heartburn completely. I'm 13 weeks tomorrow and have just been prescribed it again as heartburn had started. Not had it for 3 days now it's great. Speak to your doctor and see what they say. I tried everything else and nothing worked apart from these tablets. Hope you find something to help you heartburn is horrible.
Hi, I am 37 weeks today, and the heartburn I am experiencing is crazy, anyone has any remedy for it.
So my doctor prescribed me zantac for heartburn.. he said to take it at night and i do but everyday around 4pm my heartburn comes back.. is it ok to take it at 4pm instead of 9pm at night? Im 33 weeks pregnant..
I'm 23 weeks pregnant with my baby girl and the heart burn and acid just seems to get worse and worse it even keeps me up at night ill wake up in the middle of the night with my chest and throat burning I have changed my diet but that only seemed to help a little and I don't think it healthy to eat so many tums a night?
I've heard it,, and I have had two girls and one on the way,, my first girl had so much hair no heartburn,, my second had lots of hair,, extreme heart burn .. This one... No heartburn I'm 33wks BTW,, but ultrasound tech said she saw lots of hair,, its crazy so..
It's the same thing, your belly and baby drop once babys head is engaged. If your doc says your babys engaged then you have dropped. My babys head is engaged but my tummy doesnt look like it's dropped much (and she's so long I still get heartburn and rib kicks).
It could be. I was talking to one of my friends who is only 15. He describes that he gets the exact same thing on occasion. We seem to agree that when we breathe in it hurts so we have to breathe in slightly and breathe out more until the sharp pain subsides, which is usually after about a minute. Honestly, I'm pretty convinced now that it's heartburn since my friend described that he gets it too.
Any one have home remedies for acid reflux or heartburn? I have the worst. Currently 38 weeks along.
