A lot of men have whats called a sympathetic pregnancy where they get the symptoms as well as or instead of the mama. Some men even get the horomonal mood swings too.

Hi Rhonda......it probably is just heartburn, however, if the pain is severe and you're feeling nauseated, you should go to the ER. It could be an ulcer. A couple months ago I thought I was just having severe heartburn, but it turned out to be 2 duodenal ulcers and it was a good thing I went to the er because they admitted me for 5 days. Better to be safe than sorry. Of course, it could be a heart attack as well, but you're pretty young for that.

Heartburn, backache and constipation are my main 3 symptoms and I'm definitely not gonna miss them. I'd rather my morning sickness came back.

lol it's still VERY early for you!!! maybe you're having symptoms super early, but that's REALLY early for heartburn & stuff.. unless you're eating something to cause it. a lot of women don't get symptoms until 6 weeks or further along.. I'm up once again, 4:30 a.m. with heartburn, insomnia, ugh.. I still feel blessed though!!!

They actually have a term for it! It's an actual thing that happens to men. Men have actually been known to lactate. I'm going to go look up the word!

I am having the same symptoms. Heartburn, back pain, lightheaded and neausea, I also had lots of belching but I do that to try and stop the neausea. I took my blood pressure and it was 146/91 and BPM was 86, my normal is about 110/66 and BPM is about 65 to 70. I had Reflux surgery 15 years ago and have not had heartburn since, until last night. Symptoms have gone away since the middle of the night. History of my family.

My hubby has started to get 'synpathy' symptoms! He gets so exhausted and he's started getting really bad lower back pain. He's even vomited a few times ! Now he's complaining about dizziness. His symptoms seem to get worse when mine get worse and they stop when mine do. Anyone having a similar experience?

sorry this is kinda OT, but does anyone know what to use for extremely horrible heartburn/indesgestion during pregnancy? The other day. for lunch i had barbeque chicken sandwhich ( chicken patty with barbeque sauce on it lol) and ever since then ive been having this heartbearn reallly bad and we have nothing at my house, and i have a man teacher. enuff said. you know how men dont think anything is wrong with u until your practically on ur death bed.

I felt some odd sensations I can only describe as pulling in my lower abdomen. Lower back pain. But...those are also sometimes symptoms of your period coming on. Anyway...I know that wait until you can test is sheer torture - everyone here has been through it. Just try to keep yourself busy for the next few days!

Im 26 weeks. In know its normal for men to experience the symptoms and yeah come to think of it he feels it when I feel It too! He tells me the same thing he tells you knufrio lol. I just feel like yeah I'm the one carrying the big belly and all he should do a little more effort. Pull the weight for both of us.
