I am a 53 yr old female. I have been getting odd symptoms. Pain that starts along my jaw bone and spreads quickly to my chest (Like a really bad case of heartburn) where I have trouble taking deep breaths without pain. I break out in a sweat and feel panicy. It only lasts for a short time but it is starting to worry me. I also have occasional left upper arm pain. Does this sound like heart attack symptoms?
After doing that for about a week, I started having symptoms of heartburn - usually upon awakening and during the morning hours; it usually subsides by noon. When I eat during this time, I often feel the food going down the esophagus with some discomfort at times.
My question is this - could this be a symptom of hypothyroidism/hyperthyroidism or related in any way to me taking half the dosage of levothyroxine? How should I proceed?
m 49 female had exactly same symptoms at work starting getting sweaty hot cold sweats chest pain and heartburn symptoms thought it was heartburn only... luckily I work for a gp and she sent me to a&e I was diagnosed with coronary artery spasm. please do not ignore this and go to a&e if symptoms persist.
I know i am not the only female who gets severe heartburn! Mine gets so intense my dr had me on zantec everyday but now that i am getting bogger that isnt even helping. So mamas help me.. Did your dr ever recommend something? What can i take? Or do?! Obv i know no fatty foods etc.. Anything else?! Help!

for the past few months I have been getting severe heartburn, no matter what I eat I seem to get heartburn daily. I tried anti-acids but they dont really work. Now I'm starting to have a lot of bloating & not only am I always burping but also passing a lot of gas.. I dont know if these two are related, I dont know if this is a serious problem. I did go see my doctor and she gave me pills that dont seem to do much either.
lol it's still VERY early for you!!! maybe you're having symptoms super early, but that's REALLY early for heartburn & stuff.. unless you're eating something to cause it.
a lot of women don't get symptoms until 6 weeks or further along..
I'm up once again, 4:30 a.m. with heartburn, insomnia, ugh..

I am having the same symptoms. Heartburn, back pain, lightheaded and neausea, I also had lots of belching but I do that to try and stop the neausea. I took my blood pressure and it was 146/91 and BPM was 86, my normal is about 110/66 and BPM is about 65 to 70. I had Reflux surgery 15 years ago and have not had heartburn since, until last night. Symptoms have gone away since the middle of the night. History of my family.
I am around 7weeks and this my first pregnancy. Is it normal not to have any symptoms by this point. Im not complaining but im wondering if this is the norm. Only thing ive noticed is that im really tired.

i am 24 and female, i have been going to the doctors for nearly 3 year with thses symptoms and got worse and worse for about the last year, feeling sick constant, feeling dizzy and drunk, of balance,spaced out feeling as if am not realy hear, shakey,faint and constantly tired to the point i have to have naps in the day, i cant be bothered to do anything and have very little energy and have constant headaches. i have alsohad stitch and alot of heartburn lately.can any body help please .
They are pretty much the same as GERD, such as heartburn and back flow of acid. You may also have peptic ulcers of the esophagus, or stricture caused by scarring. Because the symptoms are much like GERD it's imperative that you see you doctor on a regular basis. Hope this helps.
I felt some odd sensations I can only describe as pulling in my lower abdomen. Lower back pain. But...those are also sometimes symptoms of your period coming on.

A pregnant female doesn't have to have any symptoms. A lot just put so much importance on them, and really shouldn't. Symptoms are nothing more than how the body handles the hormones - even if you don't get it in one pregnancy you could in another.

m a 33yo hetero male that had unprotected oral sex with a white female 5 weeks ago. I am a 43 year old female. I have had nausea, heartburn, bloating immediately after eating. Dr. said it was IBS but symptoms wouldn't go away. She gave me an ultrasound and it showed 1.3 cm polyp on gallbladder. She said I was fine and will do nothing. Now I am getting pain under right rib cage. I've heard I should have polyp/gallbladder removed for that size. Should I get a second opinion?
For the last year I have had these sharp stabbing pains in my left breast. I thought it might be heartburn so I took over the counter heartburn meds. plus I started eating healthy and excising. I have stopped eating before bed and stopped eat food that might trigger the episodes. The pains have not stopped but they haven't gotten worse either. I didnt go on meds because it was found in routine endo and i didnt have symptoms. I get heartburn off and on, but it always goes away. this last time started with a head cold, ear ache.for a few days. then the pain in ear went away. but I was still getting the runny nose and blowing it alot. Now---this may sound crazy,,but after i was blowing my nose the one day I noticed a lump in my throat--it felt like a big burp--bubble deep in throat---I brushed it aside bec ause it went away.
