I can not for the life of me get comfortable in my bed at night. I toss and turn, sleep with SEVERAL pillows, I [have] to have my fan on, my legs feel like they need to stretch every second, and to top it all off MY SON MOVES NONSTOP and hurts my ribs sometimes. Its so unfair because our bodies should atleast let us rest considering the fact we won't get any when our little ones arrive. ** 28wks+5. FTM.
During the day I am fine. At night, I get stomach aches concentrated on my left side. To get releif, I have to get up or sit up for a while, then I go back to sleep. But in another 2-3 hours, like clockwork, same thing. I have had type 2 diabetes for a long time. My primary care doctor thinks I may have gastroparesis, but in a forum, people with that condiiton report much worse symptoms than I have, and they don't just say they have problems at night.
I had Reflux surgery 15 years ago and have not had heartburn since, until last night. Symptoms have gone away since the middle of the night. History of my family. My father has 9 brothers and sisters and 1 had heart transplant and has since dies, 1 had 6 bypass surgery and a few have had heart attacks. On my mothers side, her father had 3 heart attacks and died at the age of 55, all 7 of his brothers and sisters have had heart problems and bypass. What could have caused this?
I get heartburns at night while sleeping and have been feeling back pain and can't even get comfortable when I'm sitting. Yesterday I was feeling a stabbing pain in my stomach. I'll be 35 weeks on Tuesday. How far along are you?

My boyfriend has never had heartburn, never had anxiety, and has never had a problem sleeping. I'm 30wks and he's been complaining of heartburn. And he tosses and turns all night. On top of that he's been having mood swings. And just a bit ago he started crying and nothing. I have never seen him cry before and he just started balling while working on his truck. Have a few questions. I know all pregnancy is different but I know want to hear different stories. This is my 2nd pregnancy. Just found out having another child and everything is already different from 1st. I have a 2yr old daughter. I'm 7weeks and eating alot more, more heartburn and already really sick. Are boy and girl symptoms different?
What are the symptoms most of you mommies get at 21weeks?
I take mine at night, usually about 30 minutes before going to sleep, because that's when my reflux is the worst. I sleep just fine. I'm not sure that there's any difference in the affect on the body if you take it at night vs the morning.
My gastro advised me to do this because reflux was waking me up in the middle of the night. It works well for me.
For about two weeks now, I've been getting itchy hives whenever I lay on my bed or sit on the sofa. Mind you, my husband and children sleep and sit on that same bed and sofa and don't get the hives. I don't feel as if I am getting bit by anything--my initial thought was maybe it was caused by dust mites, but the mattress has been covered and I haven't noticed any...and I am the only one getting the hives.
To any Pregnant woman who gets a lot of heartburn or a lil restless an uncomfortable specially at night.... Try to take a Magnesium supplement if you don't wanna take to many tums an over the counter medicines. I am 29 Weeks and get a little uncomfortable at night this is my first pregnancy an i don't like taking any over the counter things, I'd rather go all natural...
