heartburn remedies pregnant women

Hello any remedies to help with heartburn 10 weeks pregnant and heartburn is killing me.......

when I found out I was pregnant the doctor took me off of my medication so the heartburn is back ten times worse due to being pregnant. the doctor told me I can take Tums or Rolaids or Maalox and none of it seems to work, I'm popping Tums and Rolaids every 5 minutes its horrible does anybody have any solutions? I've cut out pop, chocolate and all the other things they recommend and it's still not helping.

It is so annoying. I read it could be heartburn. Any remedies for heartburn besides Tums or medication?

it is concerned, your stomach is being pushed out of position and there is nothing to do to change that, short of having the baby. Some women simply do get extreme heartburn from this involuntary repositioning of their internal arrangement, others (the lucky ones) don't. As as far as treating the symptom, ask your ob-gyn for a list of approved heartburn meds (don't take just anything, ask your doc or your pharmacist).

I'm 19 years old and pregnant with my first baby and never had heartburn a day in my life. But now everytime I eat pizza, chili etc I get get a hurting, burning feeling in my chest and lower throat. Is this heart burn. I know probably sounds like a stupid question but I've never had this before it's hard to explain.

Hi, I am 7 weeks pregnant this is my second pregnancy but the experience has been totally different I feel all the time with nauseas and even heartburn I have problems eating. Do you now a remedie to relief this? Most needed I have a 4year old that needs mommy to be more active and a job to attend. Thank you.

Take a tums. Or if you like homemade remedies take a half teaspoon of baking soda mix with 6oz of water. Drink it fast and hold your nose.

Other than that I sucked on cough drops constantly or sat in the bathroom with a warm Shower runnin to help clear me out. The heartburn, they gave me a prescription bc i have gerd too so the heartburn and nausea was horrible! Just talk to the doc and maybe they can help ya more! Hope you feel better!

Ok so ive had heartburn/acid reflux so bad my dr put me on Pantoprazole, well ive been having stomach issues since i started it so she told me to try a few days without it to c if it was the cause of my stomach issues, well now i have heartburn so bad i wanna cry, do any of u know heartburn remedies that i can try that r obviously safe for my son?

For heartburn drinking lots and lots of milk definately helps to ease it and it doesnt happen as often but as for the cold i have no suggestions sorry..

So I'm 33 weeks pregnant. Zantac and tums didn't help. They prescribed me a medicine and now that's not working. I'm to the point where I'm puking. Can anyone tell me anyone old time tricks or home remedies that would work. Besides milk. Tried that and just puked.....this is aweful!

Drink some milk when it gets bad. I have 6 weeks left and heartburn just hot me. I asked the midwife for remedies and she said there isn't anything effective. I guess it's just one of those pregnancy things we have to deal with.

I remember my mum telling me she had heartburn really bad when she was pregnant with me and I remember jer having it bad when she was pregnant with my brother and we both were born with full heads of hair.

I am 10 weeks pregnant and my heartburn is out of control. I try taking tums and rolaids but for some reason they make me very nauseous. Does anyone have any other remedies to get rid of heart burn? Any advice would be nice.

I use Tums, it is necessarily natural but it is not a serious medication and the Dr. is totally fine with pregnant women taking it. It is a life saver because it works within a few minutes.

Ive had loads of heartburn threw out my whole pregnancy I've found the best thing is tums the smoothie ones don't taste bad but now they also have chewey tums which taste like candy:) tums have saved me from endless heartburn
