I had heartburn REALLY bad when I was s pregnant with my daughter and drink milk really helped me. Don't drink or eat acidic things.

I'm 19 years old and pregnant with my first baby and never had heartburn a day in my life. But now everytime I eat pizza, chili etc I get get a hurting, burning feeling in my chest and lower throat. Is this heart burn. I know probably sounds like a stupid question but I've never had this before it's hard to explain.

I'm now 28 weeks 4 days and although so many people have told me you get it bad in pregnancy I've not suffered from it up until now so I thought I was lucky but over the last few days I've been suffering soooo bad with heartburn. It wakes me up in the middle of the night and as soon as I've eaten I can feel it starting. Does anyone know of any remedies? Other than chugging loads of gaviscon and rennies lol.

Hi, I am 7 weeks pregnant this is my second pregnancy but the experience has been totally different I feel all the time with nauseas and even heartburn I have problems eating. Do you now a remedie to relief this? Most needed I have a 4year old that needs mommy to be more active and a job to attend. Thank you.

I've had heart burn throughout my whole pregnancy but these past few days it's just been horrible I can't take it ! Is there any home remedies for this ? I hate milk and I heard that helps but I will not drink it , anything you ladies would recommend trying ?

Drink some milk when it gets bad. I have 6 weeks left and heartburn just hot me. I asked the midwife for remedies and she said there isn't anything effective. I guess it's just one of those pregnancy things we have to deal with.

Other than that I sucked on cough drops constantly or sat in the bathroom with a warm Shower runnin to help clear me out. The heartburn, they gave me a prescription bc i have gerd too so the heartburn and nausea was horrible! Just talk to the doc and maybe they can help ya more! Hope you feel better!

Ok so ive had heartburn/acid reflux so bad my dr put me on Pantoprazole, well ive been having stomach issues since i started it so she told me to try a few days without it to c if it was the cause of my stomach issues, well now i have heartburn so bad i wanna cry, do any of u know heartburn remedies that i can try that r obviously safe for my son?

yesterday i had bad diarrhea but it stopped by itself , when i woke up this morning i wokeup with a runny nose and all other symptoms of common cold.. in addition to sever heartburn.. i only took panadol for the cold but it didn't work, i need some cold medication safe during pregnancy as well as something for the heartburn..

so zantac really works cuz ive had heartburn thro my pregnancy and im 30 weeks today and the heartburn worse now

Milk never worked for me the heartburn always came back as soon as I laid Down... I do take Zantac 150 twice a day and its AMAZING I'm 37 weeks and have not had heartburn at all since 31 weeks!

Same here! Usually I just deal with it. At night I sleep sorta sitting up. It helps me a lot. I use my pillow and a pregnancy pillow during the whole night to keep me from laying flat down. Other than that i drink milk and try to avoid spicy food or eating too much. I hope.it gets better.
