heartburn pregnancy labor

I'm 26 weeks 5 days and my doctors have me on modified bed rest to hold off preterm labor (just found out my cervix is a little above 2cm). So yesterday I actually put together my hospital bag just in case. I hope to not need it for a few more weeks but with how my pregnancy has been going you never know.

It's a myth. With my first pregnancy I had lots of heartburn and my son barely had any hair at all.

I am a ftm. I never that being pregnant would be like this. Don't get me wrong I have had a good pregnancy so far but I'm so ready for it to be over with. I have 9 more days left but it seems like forever. I'm hoping he come soon. I went to the doctor last Friday and weight 7.15 lbs. I am a little nervous about the labor part but I am so ready to get it over with and finally hold him in my arms. Does anybody else feel like this?

I am 5 wks and my husband is getting all the cravings and now heartburn amd he never has heartburn is this normal?

Think that is common that you go a bit more as you near labor. And as mentioned, had a lot of nausea and heartburn in my third trimester and in particular the last month. You have a long way to go still. And this was an 'episode'. So, just monitor it. If you get anything like severe back pain, then worry more or if you start to cramp. But I think you are probably fine and baby is safe and snug.

Had heartburn with each pregnancy,even water gave me heartburn, didn't go away after my 3rd, preggo with my 4th now...it's awful stuff to deal with. I always keep tums and Zantac close by!! Good luck!

Anyone had chronic nosebleeds during their pregnancy? It's so annoying. How about chronic heartburn? Lawwwwdddd I feel like my esophagus is going to melt! Sheesh. On another note, despite the heartburn, I need my hotsauce. Gir!!!

Yes u can.u just have to deal with heartburn.

I've been waiting over 200 days to experience this now by baby arrival button is finally available I cant wait. Pregnancy is tough, although my family keeps telling me it was good because I never experience heartburn, nausea, morning sickness etc. I'm so ready & no more horror stories about labor so ready to do this!

Spicy food is meant to b really gd for u but appartenly at the end of ur pregnancy your to stop unless u want him bring on labor lol

If ur baby has been low the whole pregnancy, when can u tell if they have dropped? Also I have been having period like cramps just a little stronger and more painful! What could it be? I am 33+5 today!

Is your baby head down? Does it feel easier to breath? Has your heartburn went away? Frequent urination, etc. Keep in mind some babies don't drop until you're actually in labor.

I went in to labor and delivery once with my last pregnancy and when I got discharged I asked the nurse what to do for severe heartburn and she told me to open a can on voke and let it lie out for a while. Then drink it once it wasn't bubbly anymore. It surprisingly worked. And its safe to have 2 caffinated sodas a day.

I ate spicy food all thru my pregnancy lol. It did give me heartburn near the end but so did other food. I delivered at 38.

I have regular heartburn. Hoping baby has lots of hair. :) Chewing gum seems to help a bit. I need to to try club soda.

It depends on your doctor, and how the hospital is. Sometime is 2 or more. Last time I had 13 ppl w, me in the labor room lol.
