I think its just that every pregnancy is different. With my son, it was a breeze. I had heart burn, but that was the worst of it. I carried high with him and gained 43 lbs. With this pregnancy, im having a girl. Heartburn is horrible, carrying really low, i am 27 weeks and have already gained 27 lbs. My cervix is shortening, placenta was low lying, but moved up. I have had swollen legs, feet, and face. A lot of pressure and feel tired a lot.
I'm having a boy and from 7 weeks till 17 weeks I threw up every single day. My face is crazy oily. Im sooooooooo tired. I'm getting bad acid reflux. My back hurts all the time. I don't really have cravings more like food aversion.
I dont think it means hairy baby, because I know women who have had loads of heartburn and there babies are practically bald I have hears though heartburn means a boy lol!

So I had an ultrasound yesterday and they told me that my baby boy has a ton of hair on his head. I heard from other ppl that when your baby has a lot of hair you have heartburn but I don't nd have never had heartburn at all in my pregnancy. Do any of you other moms not have heartburn even tho your baby has ton of hair?
To any Pregnant woman who gets a lot of heartburn or a lil restless an uncomfortable specially at night.... Try to take a Magnesium supplement if you don't wanna take to many tums an over the counter medicines. I am 29 Weeks and get a little uncomfortable at night this is my first pregnancy an i don't like taking any over the counter things, I'd rather go all natural... Itook PreVacid 24 for heartburn u can buy it off the counter take twice aday. My OB actually told me to take it. & when ihad heartburn it was w.my 2nd pregnancy a boy & he was born w.hair not bald but not too much either.
My last pregnancy I had loads of heartburn and carried all out front and round, so everyone kept saying that I was Def having a boy with loads of hair but I had a bald girl (she didn't actually have any hair till she was about 1). I don't think there is any truth to them although it's a good time killer guessing.

No. Bump size, baby's HR, carrying high or low, carrying all round or to the front, nausea / no nausea, heartburn / no heartburn, early movements and late movements, none of this tells you whether you're having a boy or a girl. The way your bump grows is just the way it grows, heart rate will vary 130-170ish regardless of sex, heartburn just *****, and movement is how active your baby is. The way any of these relate to sex of the baby is just old wives' tales.

Haha. Yup. I suffered the same heartburn too. And my baby was born full of hair. But so were both of them and the heartburn wasn't as bad the second time. I think it has more to do with how high u carry. With my son my pee was almost neon. And I was told that meant I was gonna have a boy. And I did. So I don't know if its a coincidence or if there are some truths to it.
Symptoms ate different with every pregnancy. It has nothing to do with gender.
