heartburn

7998970 tn?1435183202 My best friend, her sister, and my sister have all had some pretty serious issues with heartburn in all of their pregnancies (we're talking a total of 10 pregnancies between the three) and only 2 of those 10 babies came out with a ton of hair. My mom said she was like me and never really had heartburn when she was pregnant and I came out with an insane amount of hair! I'm hoping the same will go for my son and how much hair he has where I haven't had it either.
4842016 tn?1372039067 I need some advice, my heartburn is so bad it hurts my body all over. And nothing really helps it. I get it almost everyday to. What can I do for it. I've tried drinking milk, no help, tums stopped helping. So what can I do?
Avatar f tn Yep, heartburn can be from pregnancy.. In the last 3 days it's just hit me and today I'm 10 weeks!
Avatar n tn now i feel sick all the time, i use the toilet very often, i am starting to get heartburn and headaches. i wasn't sure if i was pregnant so i took a test it came out negative. it is possible to get a false negative as your body hasn't adjust yet.
Avatar f tn I have regular heartburn. Hoping baby has lots of hair. :) Chewing gum seems to help a bit. I need to to try club soda.
Avatar f tn Heartburn, even if it is severe, is normal for pregnancy. I feel your pain and am so sorry you are having to deal with it :( Talk to your doctor. They can prescribe you medication for it. You can use tums, but that will make you super constipated it you take them too often. Nobody wants that... Good luck! Hope it gets better for you. Getting a prescription was a lifesaver for me.
Avatar f tn Its fine with my first pregnancy there wasn't enough tapatio in the world to satisfy my craving for spicy foods. I even ate jalapeƱos...and before that I was someone that couldn't eat hot cheetos because they would make me choke! That kid had me dipping hot cheetos in tapatio as a midnight snack lmao!
Avatar f tn Hi ladies, what's a good way to relieve heartburn besides for tums, Zantac and meds. I stay away from meds while pregnant. I usually just fight threw it but it's every night and almost day now :/ never had this much with my first so unsure how to relieve it? Thanks! Btw I'm 30w3days alonge.
Avatar f tn I had this early in my pregnancy. Started and lasted my entire 2nd trimester. Doc kept telling me heartburn, even though it feels nothing like it, so I have been living on Zantac 75, twice a day. The pain eventually stopped and then the real heartburn took its place but the Zantac did wonders for me. Hope you feel better!
Avatar n tn Missed period, nausea, tender breasts, mild cramps, and a positive pregnancy test lol
Avatar f tn I had the worst heartburn everyday for the last 10 weeks of pregnancy with my first...
Avatar n tn re not suppressing your vena cava and its taking pressure off of your arm. Also, sleep with only your head an neck on the pillow. When I had heartburn and slept propped up with my shoulders on the pillow at all... It would make my arm numb too.
Avatar f tn Hi I am 35weeks pregnant and I have really bad heartburn at night time and every time I eat I feel so full that I can barely even move. I feel the baby moving really low in my pelvic area where I haven't felt him move since the beginning of my pregnancy. I toss and turn all night. Are any of these signs that I could have the baby early or is there anyway to tell?
Avatar f tn Always have, and pregnancy has been no different. The only thing that has given me heartburn has been pizza. I drink a glass of milk after eating spicy foods, can't say that our helps with heartburn but it sure does tasty yummy...
Avatar f tn Be happy , I have had heartburn bad this whole pregnancy . Even water goves me heartburn at times . I've been in the hospital for it because it got so bad at one point in my second trimester . It got better for me now that I'm 36weeks . Its normal though it depends on your body everyone is different . Congrats :) !!!
Avatar n tn I had horrible heartburn the entire pregnancy with my first. And he was bald, he only had a bit of peach fuzz until he was over one.
Avatar f tn I have not had any heartburn during the pregnancy, I normally don't get any.
Avatar n tn if what you asking is "could this be due to pregnancy" it's unlikely. heartburn in pregnancy is due to a number of things one being the size pf the pregnant uterus pushing the stomach and causing reflux. Also higher levels of progesterone during pregnancy cause acid reflux to occur. I feel this is too early to be pregnancy related. good luck.
Avatar f tn The only thing it might do is give you heartburn. Other then that your fine.
Avatar f tn Although they may not work for very long periods of time but your OB can recommend a medication that better suits your pregnancy. I had horrible heartburn in my last pregnancy, I would literally choke on pure acid (very gross, I know!) But after I delivered..I had sudden abdominal pain. I ended up having severe gallbladder stones and had my gallbladder removed the next day.
1155281 tn?1312635491 For the last 2 months I have been experiencing nausea at different times of the day, no matter what was eaten; fatigue no matter how well or long I slept; heartburn; mood swings; increased appetite; increased libido, increased watery discharge; fluttery movement type feelings in abdomen at different times. Experiencing nipple changes now, noticed it a few days ago. Never noticed the holes in my nipples before at all then the last few days.
Avatar f tn I thought that I would be sad when my pregnancy was over, but as the days go on I'm becoming more impatient. I know this is normal but geez I am so ready! How have you ladies handled this? I'm just so excited to meet my little guy and to get my body back!
Avatar f tn It could either be side effect of Plan B or a pregnancy. Plan B is known to mess with your body causing irregular bleeding, late periods, heavy breakthrough bleeding, cramping, etc. I agree with pp, wait until your period is a few days or a week late and take a test if it doesn't show up.
3127682 tn?1345498552 s not bad, you can eat all te spicy food you want, Aslong as your body can take it well because you can have heartburn other then that its safe, I'm just like red_neck_momma I've been eating nothing but spicy food and if its not spicy ill put hot sauce, salsa or jalapeƱos lol most through my pregnancy I've been craving spicy food!
