heartburn or indigestion symptoms

Sounds like it is both, heartburn and indigestion tend to go hand in hand so it is very well possible that it is both. I get them both really bad so my OB prescribed me prilosec otc.

I had really bad heartburns in my first pregnancy (and also in the begining thought it was something serious!) they started to appear when I was about 6 months pregnant. Sometimes I had to sleep with several pellows almost sitting down just to avoid the pain. drinking alot of water helps a little during a heartburn attack.

I can't ever remember a time when I've had indigestion. I can eat anything and it's never bothered me. For the past 2 days i've had the most horrible indigestion. No matter what I eat I have it . Really don't know if this has to do with pregnancy, but since I've never expereinced it before I thought it might. Does anyone know if it is related? Typically, I eat bran cereal or an egg sandwich for breakfast.

Take tums for occasional heartburn, but zantac & pepcid are safe for severe or frequent heartburn & they last longer (at least for me.

23 weeks and baby has been very active all day today! Its amazing & i love it! I've had heart burn/indigestion all day as well... And i haven't been eating anything that would typically cause that. Just curious if its a coincidence or something that does happen when baby is active... ??!! If so, what are other 'symptoms' (if any) when baby is active?!

The indigestion symptoms also remain. Today I talked with a gastroenterologist who doubled my daily PPI dose - she diagnosed my condition as GERD. My main question is, could I be misdiagnosed? Could I instead have low stomach acidity which is my symptoms are getting worse as I take PPIs?

I am taking zantac 150 it helps with indigestion and believe it or not it really helps with the nausea

Idk why they even selling tums its a hopeless heartburn pills. I get the worst heartburn its sooo bad sometimes it hurts but Prilosec makes my life easy lol I can eat ANYTHING..

I think of indigestion as mainly heartburn but yours sounds more like a whole lot of nausea, pain and irritable bowel... But if it all just came on in the last day or 2 maybe it's just a weird stomach virus or parasite? Maybe just wait it out 72 hours and see if it dies down? Otherwise there are too many symptoms to diagnose or recommend anything... Not sure what you'd wanna start fixing first!

I'm not really sure, I've never had indigestion or heartburn. It literally feels like someone is trying to pull my ribs apart. Sometimes it almost starts tingling and going numb because of this pain. Obviously I can deal with it, I just didn't know what it was.

Hello I have been having really bad heartburn and indigestion before bed and it's causing me not to be able to sleep. I've noticed peanut butter is a very bad cause and have stopped eating it as much as I was and not before bee. I've tried drinking water and milk as well before sleeping but it doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

I get really bad heartburn at work.. which is not ideal since I work in surgery and can't leave!.. A wiser and older nurse makes a 7up and salt mixture for me. I drink a cup full and I feel so much better.. Can't hurt to try! Hopefully you find relief...

Before being pregnant I've never had heartburn or anything like it. The past few days every time I eat, my chest starts hurting. Sometimes accompanied with a burning. Is this normal? I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow.

I know this is going to sound wierd but do you have frequent episodes or heartburn or indigestion? I too suffer from pvcs and a "congestion feeling" and I notice it's a lot worse when I have heartburn or a stomach ache. I did some research and I now think I might possibly have GERD (which you can have and not have heartburn btw). People with Gerd tend to have a congested feeling and those who suffer from pvcs find they are worse when they have GERD.

OH and TMI, but I can't tell if this is "indigestion" since I've never had it before, but I get like a tingly/burning sensation right where I would feel heartburn (only it doesn't burn much) and it feels like I have to burp, but I don't is that indigestion, or is that heartburn? Or am I just crazy?!

Also tums unless those dont work. I was the lucky one to not get morning sickness or heartburn at all. I am 40+2 today... good luck hope you feel better soon!

I took tums , indigestion is often associated w . Heartburn . It doesn't need to be spicy or late to experience it. Dont lay down after eating either .
