heartburn

798555 tn?1292787551 Want to buy Heartburn MD. This product worked for me. Has 98.5% d-Limonene in it. It was only $5 at Wallmart and GNC in the US for 50 tablets, those stores dropped the product. Online prices are a rip off! All of the PPI's made me constipated, yuch! Do any of you buy Heartburn MD at a retail store or online for a decent price? The product was a miracle for me with NO side effects!
Avatar f tn Just out of curiosity, why do most thyroid patients also suffer from heartburn? I'm so sick of it and I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm fine for awhile and then I have it everyday. I just can't bring myself to go on a long term product like Prilosec after reading the negatives. I've been taking "Heartburn MD" which is supposed to be a natural alternative but it's just not working.
Avatar n tn for starters couple of months ago I went to the MD about having pain on my left breast, she said I had what they called tendities (not if spelled right). Here lately through if I eat certain food such as pizza or spaghetti I get really really bad heartburn, but it also seems like if I have too much salt or sugar I get it, not only that but I also get a slight discomfort under my breast I'm not sure if its got to do with my tendities or what. Has anyone had these same symthoms??
Avatar f tn Hello. I have had severe heartburn and difficulty with swallowing for many years and finally went to a GI doctor who did an EGD. During the scope, my esophagus was torn and the MD was unable to view my entire esophagus. I went in for a second scope after my esophagus rested and a biopsy was taken (and I recieved another small tear). It was determined that I have Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EE).
Avatar f tn yes - talk with your doctor. Thyroid ultrasound may be needed to determine what is going on.
Avatar m tn ) which did nothing......changed MD and immediately the new MD had me try a valium. He said it was like my esophagus was cramping and it just needed to relax. He was 100% correct. Only had this happen a few times per year and one valium solved the problem each time. Don't know if this helps you at all, but it might. Good luck on your search to good health.
Avatar f tn Yes, I do believe that. In your case it may well be heartburn. I know in my case it isn't. So, yes I do believe we know better. It's just that I don't have that MD after my name, so I listen to what he has to say first.
Avatar f tn The stomach symptoms are likely reflux (bad heartburn). It really depends on the TSH level -- if it is borderline high (? >3) - then T4 is often used. But sometimes with high antibodies, the thyroid can be borderline overactive (ie lowish TSH) and adding T4 may be inappropriate.
Avatar m tn If your anxiety is giving you heartburn, you should discuss it with your doctor. Perhaps antacids would be helpful You need to get a grip on yourself.
Avatar m tn Can anyone help, a couple of hours after i eat a meal i get heartburn and start feeling sick, the longer i wait for something to eat the more sick i feel. Once i have eaten then i feel ok again for a couple of hours, this has been going on now for a few weeks, i dont normally suffer from heartburn.
472576 tn?1210868917 i took the sleep md last night , i slept like a baby. Not sure if it was because I had only 2 hours of sleep the night before and then cried all day (yea, I had a pity party yesterday) lol. But I'm taking the other one tonight so I'll see if it was just my own body letting me sleep last night or if it was from the sleep md. Update tomm.
Avatar n tn I am 30 years old and I had an episode of wet MD in my left eye almost a year ago. With one injection of Avastin we were able to halt the vision loss. My vision went from 20/60 back to 20/25 and has been at 20/25 for about 6 months. I feel very blessed by GOD. I go back for check ups every 8-12 weeks and he says things look stable. My question is, what is the typical time that this stays "stable". What are the chances of my other eye developing problems.
4987347 tn?1361974337 Has anyone had success with finding a good doc in Baltimore, MD that will look at symptoms, T3 and T4 - not just TSH. Thanks for being such a great message board!
Avatar n tn Usually if you have significant, new macular degeneration changes, you will see it if you are monitoring your vision carefully. You have already experienced wet AMD in the other eye so you have some idea personally what some of the symptoms are. Currently with your right eye you could have vision changes from multiple possibilities including dry eyes, cataract, or macular degeneration just to name a few.
Avatar f tn hi, my husband and I are wanting to start a family soon. His mother had MD and passed in her early 40s, his father doesn't have MD but one his sister does, whilst the other sister doesn't. My husband was tested at birth and he didn't have Md. He is now 24, is there a high chance our children will have MD?
Avatar f tn Woke up yesterday morning to baf heartburn, nausea, and a stomach ache. I went to my grandmothers wake and felt tired, achey, crampy and what i think were contractions. I wasn't able to time them but could tell they were irregular whatever they were. Our family went out to eat and then we finished and went home. I could barely finish anything, or even start.it for that matter. About 11 last night i got horrible stomach pains, heartburn, nausea, and started puking.
Avatar f tn Welcome to our Forum. This is a no risk situation. There is no reason for worry, concern, or testing. It is unlikely that your barber had HIV, even if she did, and even if the scratch occurred while she was cutting your hair, there would be no risk for HIV. Blood would have to be introduced DEEP into tissue, not on the surface of a scratch, to cause HIV. I hope this comment is helpful.
Avatar m tn I have a burning and uncomfortable feeling on my upper part of my chest and coughing for two months now. it started as a heartburn and I was given antacids and antibiotics. but the burning sensation and coughing is still there. What can help me?
Avatar f tn If the thyroid is not significantly enlarged, then must consider other causes. Acid reflux from the stomach is one of the most common (even if you don't experience "heartburn"). If symptoms persist talk to your doctor about additional evaluation.
Avatar m tn Welcome to our Forum. I'm afraid that any answer to your question will be a guess since your do not know what it was that stuck/abraded you or where that thing (whatever it was) came from or how long it had been there. Considering all of the uncertainties, I would estimate that your chance of being infected from this event is miniscule and I see no major reason for concern. After all: 1. Whatever it was did not puncture the skin enough to draw blood.
Avatar m tn If he is doing an upper endoscopy, he definitely needs to check you out for damaged villi too. My MD is still not thrilled with the lab tests and does not think they catch all cases. But if your villi are damaged, that's definitive. Even if there was no damage, if no other cause of reflux is found, you could still experiment by eliminating first milk and then gluten.
489798 tn?1270476475 I had a light spotting around the end of March (around two weeks after my period) and a light spotting Monday. Nothing major not even a tbsp total. I have had heartburn (I never have heartburn unless I was pregnant), I am tired, moody, I had some crramps/stomach discomfort, the smell of normal foods bother me esp popcorn, headaches, breasts are a little tender, and I am running to the bathroom every hour or so (more than usual).
