I really am looking for some home remedy to get me through this, but all I can find in the house are Pepto Bismol and Ginger Ale. Will these do any good? I can find a pharmacy or store, but not until I feel halfway better to brave driving a few blocks. Suggestions for today? I know what not to do in the future.
I am 10 weeks pregnant and my heartburn is out of control. I try taking tums and rolaids but for some reason they make me very nauseous. Does anyone have any other remedies to get rid of heart burn? Any advice would be nice.
Crazy home remedy, but this is what I did with my first. I had crazy bad heartburn, and tums did nothing (I was being super weird about taking medication while pregnant with him) so I took a tsp of baking soda and warm water. Freaking disgusting but worked every time. Huge belch a few minutes later and felt instantly better.
You might not like this but eat a tea spoon full of mustard, my baby boy gives me major heartburn and i heard this helps,i tried it and i was literally cured for a week. A home remedy that works! Try it I'm 28+3 and heartburn is no longer an issue.
Wow I use tums which works for me... have you talked with you Dr. to see of he or she can give you something stronger? I hope you get some relief soon heartburn can keep you up for hours.
I've tried every heartburn remedy that I'm allowed. Non seem to work now. I'm going to dr later. Also have the dreaded constipation now, hurts like hell when i have to go. 40 weeks is far too long to be pregnant lol as much as i don't want him to come til hes ready, I ready for the end now. Saying that I've not packed my hospital bag yet and not got all babys stuff ready yet...all because I'm so tired i get home from work and I'm done in.
