heartburn headache

I'm really glad to have a drug to control my hypothyroidism, but I see that others suffer from heartburn as well. It's pretty bad, and it happens every day, along with headache. It's not a good thing. Any suggestions?

ve had terrible heartburn and headaches. My doctor said to take Zantac or any otc preventative heartburn need. She said to only take Tylenol for a headache and only when it's really bad.

This is the 5th night I've woken up throwing up because I've been getting heartburn. I'm soon to be 36 weeks. I've been taking tums and Pepcid OTC and it's not doing anything. Is there something else I should be trying? I'm scared one of these nights I will choke on the throw up because I'm sleeping when it happens.

I have difficulty swallowing, pain in throat, cough, headache, full feeling around jaw and ears. I am 67 years old.

I'm 19 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and I'm having some Hella bad migraines. I also have terrible sinuses, heartburn and I've been physically sick alot, with a fever and what not. I'm allergic to acetmenaphin(tylenol) which is supposedly the only thing I can take while pregnant. My doctor refuses to write me prescriptions for anything else and tells me to deal with it and there's nothing else like aspirin that I can take. She's very rude.

I haven't had any heartburn does this mean my daughter will be bald ?I'm now 33 weeks today, well I did experience heart burn like one time last month ! Anybody didn't have heartburn and Baby still came out with a head full of hair ?

i'm not sure if u can do both at once but if u drink milk it will help take the heartburn away. its the calcium in the tums that help take the heartburn away. milk helps me more than tums.

21week +2 I get vomiting heartburn like crazy headache and migraine.

Had heartburn with each pregnancy,even water gave me heartburn, didn't go away after my 3rd, preggo with my 4th now...it's awful stuff to deal with. I always keep tums and Zantac close by!! Good luck!

30 pm. I have had heartburn since yesterday morning and it's still here, along with a headache that won't go away.. my stomach and back hurt too. Idk what is going on :( I see my dr Wed so I am trying to hold off until then.. I have had high blood pressure and a lot of swelling so idk if the pains are related to preeclampsia or what. It is Thursday morning and since Tuesday afternoon I have had what seems to be heartburn. I have had heartburn several times and I just take zantac or tums and it goes away. This time though it is constant and much more painful. Its just short stabbing bursts of pain and they are breathtaking. I can feel it through out my chest and stomach now and nothing seems to help. The pain is nearly bringing me to tears.

Its not uncommon for your sickness to return after it had went away, you can take tylenol for your headache and tums or zantac or a liquid antacid for your heartburn.

I have a hiatal hernia and you dont have to have heartburn to have it. I do not have heartburn at all. I had a lump in my throat after i ate and then i had an EGD and it showed a very small one. They are harmless, so dont worry if you did have one. My whole family has them. My upper stomach hurt and my dad has one and his back hurts him. So, dont panic, its ok! :-) Hope this helps.

which i never get heartburn peeing alot just like before af showed up weird taste in my mouth a crazy headache well these are more like pregnancy symptoms then af but there both so similar well im confusing myself and its making my headache worse soo is there such a thing as post af symptoms :)

I am due on the 19th. I have headache almost every day... no heartburn yet but some nights I wake up because I get sick in my mouth! Gross... I had to get up very quickly so I don't get sick and drink some water...

27 week peeing a lottt and heart burn and sweeling

I too got a headache and terrible heartburn when I started taking my meds, but thanks to the guys on here I have manged to get them to ease - just by drinking plenty of water when you take the tablet (I am on Levothyroxine) it seems to disperse the meds better and you don't get so much of a headache or heartburn. Stick at it - it weill get better.

also other symptoms i have are headache, slight cramping, tired, nausea, sore breasts...was this normal for everyone at 6 weeks? what other symptoms can i look forward to having soon lol??

I agree if your concerned definitely go to ER. I had horrible heartburn/acid reflux that it gave me earache and headache for over a week. I was so afraid of eating that I basically didn't. Tums gave temp short term relief which I was so thankful for, then my OB prescribed for me prilosec 2x daily for 30 dys. I have 34 dys left until 40weeks.

30 weeks, having a girl. Having some pelvic and back pain and a ton of heartburn. Now starting to get back into the frequent urination bit again and cannot sleep worth anything.

I was going to post that I noticed a weird difference. Most people get a headache when drinking cold drinks too fast but I get heartburn…………… then I stopped by the infusion clinic (they draw blood every time because they are an oncology center and my cardiologist wanted a BMP done. There were only 4 abnormal values and I couldn't put them together, not knowing if MS was involved. Total protein was low 6.2 Globulin was low 2.3 Albumin/Globulin Ratio was high 2.

I still have morning sickness, chest tenderness, heartburn, constipation, bloating, ligament pain, lower back pain, acme, and severe lyrics frequent urination. Nothing like my first pregnancy.
