Avatar m tn He experiences bad indigestion/stomach ache/heartburn followed by acid reflux, and so far lifelong medication has been his only hope. He has visited the local GPs many times over the years but doesn't feel any further toward treating his condition. He is prescribed a type of gastric (proton pump) inhibitor and although this helps him to get on with life and have less symptoms, if he even misses one dose his condition returns immediately.
Avatar m tn Hi All, A member of our forum has just told me something that I have never heard before. And that is to make sure my hubby eats "liver friendly". What does that mean in the manner of foods to eat for a healthy liver? I know alcohol is tabu, he does not smoke but what about the foods? Does anyone have a good healthy diet for someone with hep C ? Appreciated!

Avatar f tn What are foods that cause hurt burn? Cause I really can't take this feeling every night ... I don't know what I can eat anymore.. And I'm hungry now!

Avatar n tn I would also really like to see the feature of being able to edit an individual food item within a meal without having to delete and re-add them. This would save so much time. I would also like to have the option of using a gram (g) measurement added to the serving size options when adding foods to "My Foods" list. I just think grams is more accurate than a measuring cup or spoon measurement, especially when dealing with foods that can vary depending how they are cut or chopped.
Avatar f tn I craved spicy food all through out my pregnancy.
