heartburn every night

Every night i wake up in the middle of the night with serious heartburn, its horrible im almost 37 weeks cant wait to have baby boy so maybe I wont have such bad heartburn all day and night. Anyone know how to get rid of it at night?

Yes almost every night around 2am. I'm 28 weeks along. Its not fun!

Literally every night I feel myself getting sleepy. However I can not go to sleep without a cup of ice. So I get up make me some ice then go to bed. Lol I know I have low iron.

Every night before I go to bed I drink either a tall glass of milk or juice to help me sleep. It also gets my baby boy moving and I get to feel him one last time before I sleep. I know once he gets stronger he'll be keeping me up all night but I'm enjoying his little kicks right now :) Is there something you ladies do every night for comfort ?

Baby was kicking my ribs as sides all night, my heartburn was at its worst, and I was just tossing and turning all night. My boyfriend just stole the blankets and hogged the bed, and would get all grumpy when I would wake him up to tell him to stop. I'm about to kick his *** out of bed. I can tell I'm going to be in a bad mood all day now. I'm sorry to you ladies who have sleepless nights like this every night!

Im on my second pregnancy and i have so much heartburn at night. I take tums just like my doctor said on the first pregnancy. Im just a little worried that if i take it every day is bad for the baby. Does anyone have the same problem?

I had this horrrrrrible all day and all night, my OB said to take Prilosec OTC every night before I went to bed and ever since I've started it I haven't had it since, it seriously worked miracles, tums worked for a while but it'd come back 3 hours later

This is my first pregnancy and heartburn had me waking up in the middle of the night every night cry, cause I was tired. A ate runs like candy didn't work and I hate milk. But I drunk it still didn't find comfort. So my home girl told me to try Mustard. I didn't believe it at first and then i asked all my relatives and they told me yes it works and to give it a try, they used it during their pregnancy.

I had heartburn so bad my Dr has me tale Zantac 150 every morning and every night...it has been a blessing! I also eat smaller meals more often...talk to your Dr about Zantac.

I got terrible heartburn at night!! It actually wakes me up with the pain, and it keeps me up till morning... please!! Suggest away.. anything that can help.

Almost every night for the last 8 weeks. Even drinking water gives me heartburn these days. I keep tums by the bed, in the car, at work...they are my best friend! But when that doesn't work, I dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water & drink it-always does the trick!

Im 23 weeks and 4 days...i get terrible heartburn at night. What is a good cure???

I can not for the life of me get comfortable in my bed at night. I toss and turn, sleep with SEVERAL pillows, I [have] to have my fan on, my legs feel like they need to stretch every second, and to top it all off MY SON MOVES NONSTOP and hurts my ribs sometimes. Its so unfair because our bodies should atleast let us rest considering the fact we won't get any when our little ones arrive. ** 28wks+5. FTM.

FTM and I just started having heart burn now at 21 weeks. It's not every night but almost every night. I find that if I chew two Tums before bed I don't wake up from the burning. I guess I could use the calcium whether I have it or not.

m only 12 weeks and I feel fine in the mornings but dang at night it all goes down hill for me, more like down the toilet. Can I do anything to help? I always have terrible acid come up and it burns so badly.

I have this horrible all day and it wakes me up in the middle of the night, my doctor said to take Prilosec OTC every night before I go to bed, it's safe for baby and you, tums help temporary but it just comes back worse for me later, also try not to lay down righty after you eat

Ive tried everything for my heartburn which I got every other week, it would go on for hours and hours in the middle of the night so i chugged a bottle of water and vomit out all the acid. A tip from a nurse hotline I called when I couldnt take the pain. Couple minutes later it was such a huge relief of no chest inflammation or burning pressure. Slept so good right after.

I just wish I could throw the food up and not have the heart burn for the rest of the night!! Heartburn sucksass! Sorry vent about fu.kin heartburn lol that's sad.
