The common cause of nausea, vomiting accompanied by heartburn after fatty meals is gallbladder disease.Biliary sludge is another condition associated with stomach pain after eating greasy food. This sludge is the thickened mixture of bile components after the solids separate from the liquid form. This may inhibit the forceful contraction of the bile into the small intestine.
Am 25 weeks and the vomiting is starting again. Anyone else went tru this or is goin tru this?
m not throwing up, but have major heartburn. Nothing seems to make it better. Only when I finally fall asleep. I was reading that in the 8th week it is supposed to calm down a little.
Now its hurting her so much at times that it causes her to throw up and when she does throw up it follows with bleeding nose, What should I do?
I had a drs appt today and mentioned this and he didn't seem too concerned. I've been getting sick almost every time I eat lately. I did have hyperemesis for the first half of my pregnancy and now it seems to be returning or something. I know I dont have food poisoning. It feels like my acid reflux and heartburn have gotten worse and there's just no room for food so my body rejects what doesn't fit. Anyone else experiencing this? It seems to wake me up at night mostly.

I drink every other day (vodka) have been for the last 6 months. I've always had heartburn and am constantly eating tums or taking Prilosec. This past week I've been vomiting everyday after drinking and have been vomiting acid. Last night was the worst. I woke up st 4am violently vomiting acid my throat and nose still hurts today. I did vomit what looked like blood, it also burned very basket when it came up.. also went through my nose. I took zofran an anti nausea pill to calm it down.
Try morning sickness well tea it's good for gas n heartburn and vomiting just mix some lemon in it and it really help me I'm 16 weeks and I don't get gas much or heartburn ,sick that much hope it helps
If nothing works mention it to your dr. I had unbelievable "heartburn" tried everything it was so bad I was vomiting from it... turned out to be acid dr prescribed tablets and they were a mericle.
ve been having severe heartburn even when taking the prilosec, and the heartburn often triggers vomiting. Lately, the vomiting has also been triggered by a feeling that I have a dry-spot or lump in my throat (water doesn't help). I have to repeatedly clear my throat or cough - which also triggers vomiting. This past week I haven't been able to lie down for more than 2-3 hours without having to vomit. Doesn't matter if I've recently eaten, or what I've eaten.
Your persisting symptoms nausea and vomiting could indicate a viral gastroenteritis. The other causes could be jaundice if there is yellowish discoloration of skin, food poisoning if the symptoms occurred shortly after taking food, peptic ulcer disease and sometimes cholecystitis and pancreatitis.
Hope a urine analysis did not reveal an infection, as urinary tract infection can cause these symptoms. Discuss these options with your consulting doctor.

Hey everyone, I'm 5 weeks pregnant and are vomiting almost all day, I have tried crackers, 7~up, not drinking fluids before or after meals. I hardly want to eat and chewing mint gum isn't helping. Any suggestions?
ve had tachycardia every time i stand or walk, faintness, collapse, chest pains/discomfort, aching left arm, aching lower face, ectopics, vomiting, chronic heartburn, sweating, shortness of breath and many scary episodes. Completely housebound. Had chest ct, bloods many times (raised pancreas and liver enzymes), more ekgs, event monitor, cardiac ct perfusion scan. No stress test. Goitre but normal TSH.

no fever or chills, i feel rested after a good nights sleep, no major weight gain or loss,no vomiting, normal bowel movements,very little nausea, so generally healthy feeling.

Well ladies for me I have tried it all at first fresh ginger tea with honey would help me, or chamomile. Now no over counter medications help I have ran out of options so I Google and one cup of water with half a tea spoon of baking soda helps me and I haven't had to drink any in like 2 or 3 days been sleeping much better. I have bad heartburn that I wake up vomiting at night. I asked my ob she said it's ok for me to have it bt not more than 3 sips every two or 3 hours. Hope it helps..
I had heartburn so bad it would radiate to my knees! My doctor told me, that a few tums is fine, but if you find yourself eatingthem like candy, Mylanta would be better due to the high calcium in tums. I always drank a lot of milk, it helped in the moment, but milk will make it worse in the long run.. good luck! Btw, I truly believe in the old wives tale about the baby having lots of hair if you have bad heartburn!
symptoms, even if it never has before. Heartburn can be from various things, and vomiting from heartburn and reflux is well known. Can you still feel the strings? If it's in place, the odds of pregnancy would be low. However if you do not, you need to make an appointment and have it looked at. While there you can also have blood testing done for pregnancy to make sure if you are or not.
Bear in mind at this point, I ONLY suffered from stomach gastric pains and gassy burping, NO HEARTBURN, NO NAUSEA OR ANY OTHER GERD SYMPTOMS. He gave me a 3 month course of medications but after taking them for 6 weeks, I cut it down to once a day in the morning. At this point, all my pain and discomfort has STOPPED completely.
However almost immediately after I cut down on my medications to just once a day, I begin to feel tightness in my throat, mainly on my right side.
Im 36+2 and can barely keep any liquid ls down :(. I have bad heartburn and am taking antacids every time I'm allowed to. But anything I drink repeats on me until I spew or just keep swallowing it back down which makes the heartburn worse. Ive tried milk, orange juice, apple juice, water, cordial, everything irritates me. Any ideas?
