heartburn causes tiredness

I feel the tiredness hit me probably in the 30-60 minutes after taking my dose. It lasts for a few hours, and then lessens a little, but still is with me. I think I will just try taking it at night before bedtime.

HI and welcome to the Gerd forum. It is possible to go thru what I call flares where the gerd is worse than at other times......U did not mention if u r on meds or if u were seen by a GI dr. U really should not self medicate and should have a dr oversee ur care....in the meantime u can take some OTC meds and watch ur diet. We have a section called Health Pages which has a list of foods to avoid and foods that r safe for people with gerd. U will have to see what is better for u ....

Does depression cause like extreme tiredness? What happens to me is I get up and I feel good but then as the day wears on I start thinking about depressing thoughts and then all of a sudden bam! I just get hit with this overwhelming fatigue. It doesn't even happen gradually. Is this normal?

4, my ferritin is 5, hemocrit is 33, I have a headache everyday, and am really tired, I also have pains in my chest that come and go, I went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with heartburn, so I have been taking nexium everyday, but I also have arthritis and was taking Celebrex. Since the blood work and the results the doctor told me to stop taking the Celebrex and just to take Tylenol instead. The doctor now wants me to have an upper GI evaluation. What could possibly be wrong?

do not lay down for an hr after eating n eat SMALL portion meals too much food sitting in ur stomach causes the acid in ur stomach to *** up which causes heartburn.. no spicy food nothin acidic!!

This is an area where medication definitely makes the situation worse in the long run. And whether Buspar causes heartburn or not, anxiety can and often does cause digestive problems. Buspar more often causes nothing, including effects on anxiety, but hope you're one of the ones getting benefit from it. If not, it's the Buspar. Hasn't proven effective.

i am also facing loose stool issue since the start treatment. Some times it is good and some times it becomes very bad. i have IBS which causes real problem for me. it is stress related. When i feel tens it becomes worst. I m fighting double battle.

Sometimes no symptoms are noticed because they can be so vague, or can easily be explained away by other causes, such as menstrual problems, fatigue, approaching menopause. Common symptoms many of us had are bloating, feeling full in the stomach, urinary frequency, back pain, bowel problems, abdominal discomfort or pain....... If you don't feel right, go for a good gyn check-up and express your concerns. Be persistant.

I am ftm @ 15wks 3 days with twins. I have severe heartburn. Anything I eat or drink causes heartburn. I haven't ate since 6pm this evening and its now 1152 pm and my heartburn will not let me go to sleep. Do any of you suffer from this and what is recommended.

Most of the time acid/heartburn is from the foods you eat plus baby pushes everything up and it causes it too I had heartburn every single day from 5 months till I had my daughter she had a head full of thick long black hair but doesn't mean it's true

I also have a lot of itching and feeling hot and heartburn tiredness headaches which is major and sickness and suffly nose and don't know whether this is normal but over their last 2 days I have had a itchy belly which is not constant.

Hey im 20wks+5 and im still exhausted and stoll feeling sick alot of the time but its all worth it. I found out yestetday that im having a girl and I already have a 22month old son. Im glad as this will be my last one as my body doesnt like pregnancy very much. Good luck with your pregnancies........
