Im looking for answers. For 2 years I had continuous stomach pain, heartburn and chest pains. I was seen numerous times in the ER when the pain got to bad. Everytime I was told there was nothing wrong. Finally one doctor decided to do a hida scan and found I had a low function gallbladder. it was only 17%. In November I had my gallbladder removed. I had a lot of pain and the heartburn instantly returned.. and I would get nauseas with one bite of food.
Now I can eat more fat but I gain wait a lot faster than before so you should probably stick to the low fat diet . I do get more heartburn after my surgery. I had gerd even before. I just make sure I take my PPI and tums especially when eating spicy foods. Last night I ate some cherry peppers and had to take an extra tums because of the heartburn.
I'm suffereing from heartburn n gas and sometimes acidity too for d last months, I 'v taken ayurvedic medicine but no relief from heartburn gets worse after breakfst.
Sounds like heart burn just change your daily diet and if it continues try tums. It's recommended for pregnant women to avoid spicy food for the very reason that it causes heartburn.

I take prilosec daily and never have heartburn anymore. I also take hyoscyamine when these attacks get really bad. I only take it as a last resort because it makes me feel so bad.
Most people with heartburn/acid reflux/GERD don't have enough stomach acid. Causes of low stomach acid are quite long from aging to zinc deficiency. Both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism are also causes of low stomach acid.

I'm having anxiety right now. For the past 4 weeks, im experiencing heartburn and diarrhea in the morning(once a day). Not having stomach cramps and pain. 6 days ago I started avoiding coffee , milk, tea, soda, spicy food. I started taking antacid after meal. I ate more meat, food rich in fiber and psyllium fiber. My stool are now formed and soft in my first Po-Poh in the morning and after 30 min, my second po-Poh is watery again. What causes this? Is this anxiety related?
no just the vomitting. My diet is usually pretty good because i have small children so i try and make meals as healthy as possible.
He drinks alot of coffee and coke which I think is one of the causes of heartburn but he also eats spicy foods. He just cant seem to eat anything healthy. I wouldn't know if he has or has had any other problems because he doesn't like to see the doctor. The only reason he saw the heart specialist is because he had a chest pain and he blacked out. So his whole family made him go because he is very hard headed.He doesn't drink or do drugs. He has no food allergies that I know of.
for the past few months I have been getting severe heartburn, no matter what I eat I seem to get heartburn daily. I tried anti-acids but they dont really work. Now I'm starting to have a lot of bloating & not only am I always burping but also passing a lot of gas.. I dont know if these two are related, I dont know if this is a serious problem. I did go see my doctor and she gave me pills that dont seem to do much either.

I am having 6 months of heartburn, I have done some tests incl. ultrasound, bloodwork, and urinalysis and allergy testing, all of which came back neg. for anything. I am on a strict diet and using PPi's for multiple months, but the symptoms haven't gone away. symptoms: stomach problems (stomach burning), mild diarrhoea (which i've had for some years already on and off. Its specifically notable that i still have it now because I take lots of fibre on my diet).
Does anyone know how long you're supposed to wait before bringing back "trigger" foods into your diet. My doctor said I can do it by the end of this month, but I am a bit nervous because I don't know how to go about doing this. I know I'm not supposed to bring them all back at once but do I just eat a trigger food then wait a few days? I don't get it. I am concerned that if I even eat one trigger food, my esophagus will swell up again.
Everyday I have horrible heartburn I wake up everymorning feeling sick to my stomach and I have frequent bowel movements with soft shapless stools and when I wipe there is blood on the toilet paper this has been going on for about 7 to 12 months...
it started five years ago, anytime i sweat and it dries my body itches me but once i bath it becomes normal till i sweat again. sometimes it causes rashes on my body if i do not bath. the itching started from just my genitals and has now spread through my entire body even inside my mouth and my eyes itches when sweat. For the first four years it was just itching but now i've been having body pains, indigestion and heart burns, and severe neck pain.
My PVCs are definitely more of a problem when my heartburn acts up. I have heartburn a lot, unless I take Nexium daily. Even then, I sometimes have heartburn and take some additional Mylanta. Also, irritable bowel and the gas/bloating it causes makes the PVCs worse. When the gas passes and stops pressing on my stomach and chest area, the PVCs lessen. They also lessen when I get up and walk around some after eating, and when I eat smaller, healthier meals.
Has anyone gotten a diagnosis or relief. I've been having the same problems with hives and major heartburn for 1 1/2 months.
