Common Questions and Answers about Heartburn baking soda water

Take 1 tblspn baking soda and put it into a clean, dry cup. Add urine to the baking soda, if it fizzles its mean its a boy and if it does nothing its supposed to mean your expecting a girl. I dont know my babies gender yet, but I tried it and it says im having a girl. I will update after my gender scan. Everyone try it, if you already know the gender it will help us see how accurate it is, and if you dont know the gender yet its fun to see how the results compare!

I've heard wonders about baking soda and water. Mix a teaspoon, no more than a teaspoon of it, with about 1 or 2 cups of water, no less than 1 cup. My gma use to do it when she was pregnant and got the tip from my great grandmother who was a midwife almost all her life. Just don't do it more than once a day. It'll make you burp, but you will feel better. The baking soda counteracts with the acids in your stomach making it go away within a short amount of time.
baking soda and water mixed with something sweet. Or Calcium carbonate tablets crushed and mixed with water or with mint tea. Tums has the exact same calcium as the supplement tablet but I would discourage the stronger heartburn meds. A weird one that works but doesn't taste too good is diluted apple cider vinegar. Sometimes the heartburn is caused by capsaiacin and vinigar neutralizes the spicy substance by dissolving the fat that it is processed in.

The only thing that helped the burn was baking soda in some warm water and goat milk. Sounds gross, I know, however, if you can get it fresh it really isn't bad. It even ended up being the ONLY thing my son could keep down long enough to gain some weight.
I keep reading a lot about vinegar, pickle juice, baking soda and water. Last night I was craving orange juice and I drank a huge glass of it before I went to bed and I didn't have any heartburn last night at all. I wonder if that did anything to ease it because I was having it before I drank it, but not after it. Thanks to everyone who has suggested things.
