heartburn and headache

Hi I'm cue 19 Feb and I get heads his seems like every day and I just started getting heartburn about 2 weeks ago and I can sleep for days if someone would let me.

I'm really glad to have a drug to control my hypothyroidism, but I see that others suffer from heartburn as well. It's pretty bad, and it happens every day, along with headache. It's not a good thing. Any suggestions?

ve had terrible heartburn and headaches. My doctor said to take Zantac or any otc preventative heartburn need. She said to only take Tylenol for a headache and only when it's really bad.

Her doctor checked her labs and she was positive for celiac disease. She had low levels of vitamin D and some other vitamins and minerals. No heartburn medicines were helping. Upper and lower endoscopy were done, and upper endoscopy showed the damage from the celiac disease. She went gluten-free. It took about 2 months, but then her heartburn went away and she started feeling better. She dreaded taking vitamins, but she needed them.

I'm 19 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and I'm having some Hella bad migraines. I also have terrible sinuses, heartburn and I've been physically sick alot, with a fever and what not. I'm allergic to acetmenaphin(tylenol) which is supposedly the only thing I can take while pregnant. My doctor refuses to write me prescriptions for anything else and tells me to deal with it and there's nothing else like aspirin that I can take. She's very rude.

I haven't had any heartburn does this mean my daughter will be bald ?I'm now 33 weeks today, well I did experience heart burn like one time last month ! Anybody didn't have heartburn and Baby still came out with a head full of hair ?

I get a throat cramp if I drink cold water too quickly. I also get an esophageal spasm (probably different than your heartburn.) My hematologist commented that those blood numbers can look a little off sometimes, and it may be as simple as a sampling error when they were doing the test. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you're concerned, call your cardiologist and see what they say.

I could not eat nor drink anything without throwing up. I was weak and tired. And looks like my bp and not drinking water made the protein in my urine go up. So off to a maternal fetal medical dr. I go Tuesday. So far, I have added lemons, oranges, cucumbers, mint, to each liter of water I drink. So far I have added a little sugar to some of those and I just chug to get it down after each bathroom trip.

i'm not sure if u can do both at once but if u drink milk it will help take the heartburn away. its the calcium in the tums that help take the heartburn away. milk helps me more than tums.

21week +2 I get vomiting heartburn like crazy headache and migraine.

My throat is sore, I have a headache, I'm really nauseous, my stomach is crampy and I have TERRIBLE heartburn. So bad that I threw up last night. My whole body is sore and I can't sleep although I'm exhausted. I'm MISERABLE and I don't know what to do. I would go to the hospital but I don't see a point if I'm just sick. I also don't want to wake my husband up because he works in the morning and if I'm sent home, he gets no sleep. I have dirreah also.

I have had horrible heartburn since my second trimester. I'm 36 weeks now. Every night no matter what I do it never fails. Zantac and milk are life savers! Also, I've never heard of heartburn being linked to preeclampsia.

It's all over my back and belly. I took some Tylenol and my headache has subsided but it's still there.. my legs and feet are even hurting. Idk it's like my whole body aches. it doesn't feel like the flu or anything. I just have zero energy and am achy.

It is Thursday morning and since Tuesday afternoon I have had what seems to be heartburn. I have had heartburn several times and I just take zantac or tums and it goes away. This time though it is constant and much more painful. Its just short stabbing bursts of pain and they are breathtaking. I can feel it through out my chest and stomach now and nothing seems to help. The pain is nearly bringing me to tears.

Its not uncommon for your sickness to return after it had went away, you can take tylenol for your headache and tums or zantac or a liquid antacid for your heartburn.

I have thyroid problems also, I know hypothryoidism can make you more likely to suffer headaches, also eyehealth and thryoid conditions run together! I have GERD it makes it hard for me to swallow when I have heartburn, and it always seems to choke me right where my thryoid is! I didn't think it was the refulx causing me to have a hard time swallowing, but it was! are you on the thyroid disorders forum? If not you should take a look at it.

I have a hiatal hernia and you dont have to have heartburn to have it. I do not have heartburn at all. I had a lump in my throat after i ate and then i had an EGD and it showed a very small one. They are harmless, so dont worry if you did have one. My whole family has them. My upper stomach hurt and my dad has one and his back hurts him. So, dont panic, its ok! :-) Hope this helps.

well af has come and gone and now ive had heartburn for the past two hours.

The strange thing is the bleeding has mostly been reddish brown and lighter than normal. I am also still having hot flashes, heartburn, and still irritable and tired. Does anyone have any thoughts?

27 week peeing a lottt and heart burn and sweeling

Oh yeah! I'm 35 weeks and just annoyed, impatient, and tired of all the nagging 3rd trimester aches and pains. Hungry but keep getting heartburn so I want to eat and then I don't. Swelling more so I have carpal tunnel in one hand and numbness in the other. Hot flashes?! And yes, back and stomach hurt or are achy. Nothing relieves it either. The days are like going by in slow mo!

I too got a headache and terrible heartburn when I started taking my meds, but thanks to the guys on here I have manged to get them to ease - just by drinking plenty of water when you take the tablet (I am on Levothyroxine) it seems to disperse the meds better and you don't get so much of a headache or heartburn. Stick at it - it weill get better.

Early in my pregnancy i had a headache all the time and nausea, but all those symptoms you listed seem normal for early pregnancy....Congrats!
